9:25 a.m., Standard area A woman said there was an attempted break-in at Randy's Wheel and Tire and Zertuche's Driving School on the 13600 block of Tuolumne Road. A screen was pulled away from a window.

10:22 a.m., Jamestown A deputy found a purple and white mountain bike on Eighth Street at Seventh Avenue.

10:49 a.m., Twain Harte A man on the 21400 block of Blue Oak Gulch Road said several people on bicycles were trespassing on his property and lifting the hoods of his vehicles.

11:59 a.m., Twain Harte area A man on the 23300 block of Middle Camp Road said his house was burglarized and a statue, two shotguns and beer were stolen.

12:01 p.m., Soulsbyville Power tools valued at $400 were stolen from a construction site on the 17300 block of Valley Oak Drive.

12:18 p.m., Groveland A woman on the 22500 block of Prospect Heights said a neighbor shot water from a hose into the woman's house overnight to get her attention. She said the neighbor has complained about too much noise.

3:31 p.m., Twain Harte A Summerville Elementary School employee said a man who was possibly drunk had fallen in front of a school bus on Mt. Provo Road near Confidence Road.

5:48 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 19300 block of Poplar Circle said the driver of a white pickup truck was trying to pick up a neighbor's dog.

7:45 p.m., Tuolumne area A man on the 16000 block of Fitch Ranch Road said his house was burglarized and a computer and a handgun were stolen.

8:09 p.m., Tuolumne A Black Oak Casino security officer said a man was running around the casino parking lot stabbing tires and hiding behind cars.

10:34 p.m., Big Hill area A caller said a 12-15-inch diameter tree fell over, blocking Big Hill Road near Belleview Elementary.

Felony bookings


8:18 a.m., Sonora David James Urish, 21, 600 block of Olive Street, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and grand theft auto after an arrest at a house on the 100 block of Snell Street, Sonora. He remained held this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.

11:30 a.m., Sonora Tyson Douglas Miller, 22, 16800 block of American River Drive West, Crystal Falls, booked on a warrant charging him with using a credit card without permission after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Probation Department. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Stanley John Pesicka, 60, 18200 block of Highway 120, Groveland, booked at 9:30 p.m. Thursday after an arrest on Back Street, Groveland.

Ronald James Wells, 39, 11200 block of Cometa Road, Valley Home, booked at 11:15 p.m. Thursday after arrest on High School Road at Highway 108, Jamestown.

Clint Kalani Christensen, 20, 11800 block of Powder House Road, Groveland, booked at 12:56 a.m. Friday after arrest on Highway 120 west of Ferretti Road, Groveland.

Sonora police reports


10:48 a.m., fraudulent activities A caller said stolen checks were written at two stores in the Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

2:42 p.m., fire A 62-year-old woman driving on Morning Star Drive noticed smoke coming from her engine compartment. She pulled over and then noticed flames coming from the engine. Sonora City Fire crew put the fire out and the car was towed away. The woman was not injured.

6:14 p.m., disorderly conduct A man and a woman were fighting at a restaurant on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

9:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller on the 200 block of Alpine Lane said someone tried to get into her house.


2:16 a.m., public intoxication A woman said a drunk man was banging on her front door on the first block of East Jackson Street.

11:41 a.m., fraud A woman on the 200 block of Greenley Road said one of her checks was stolen and cashed.

2:23 p.m., theft A woman on the 600 block of Sanguinetti Road said her credit card had been stolen and used.

2:55 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury hit-and-run accident occurred in a parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

4:24 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury hit-and-run accident occurred on the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

9:04 p.m., fight A caller said about 40 teenagers were involved in a fight on the 900 block of Sanguinetti Road.


1:39 a.m., traffic violations A 49-year-old man was cited and released on Snell Street for driving on a suspended license.

6:31 p.m., fight A caller said an argument took place on the 500 block of South Barretta Street.

11:55 p.m., theft A caller from Save Mart on Mono Way said two people walked out of the store with a backpack full of stolen alcohol.


1:01 a.m., assault A person received a head-butt at a concert on South Washington Street earlier in the evening.

1:49 a.m., public intoxication A 33-year-old woman was arrested and booked on suspicion of public intoxication after a fight in a parking lot on South Stewart Street.

4 a.m., suspicious circumstances A woman said someone was in her house on the first block of Bradford Avenue.

7:41 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said someone put soap in the city fountain on South Washington Street and it was bubbling.

5:56 p.m., theft A caller said the face plate to a car stereo was stolen on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

7:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a person was pounding on the windows of a business and trying to pull down a tree on the 1000 block of Mono Way.


12:16 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said an intoxicated man was demanding a cab on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

1:22 a.m., public intoxication A caller said the same intoxicated man was causing a disturbance at a business on the 1000 block of Mono Way.



7:30 p.m., Columbia area A car fire was reported on Highway 49 at Reynolds Ferry Road. Damage was estimated at $5,000 to a 1993 Buick LeSabre owned by Beverly Bell of Sonora. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Tuolumne County Fire Department and Columbia Fire Protection District responded.


7:55 p.m., West county A roadside arson fire burned a spot of grass on Tulloch Road. Anyone with information is asked to call CDF Battalion Chief Richard Imlach at 532-0821. No damage was reported. CDF, Tuolumne County Fire Department and one crew from Baseline Conservation Camp responded.

10:15 p.m., Columbia An illegal debris burn was reported on the 24000 block of Experimental Mine Road. Hart Drobish of the same address was cited. Columbia Fire Protection District, CDF and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

7:47 a.m., Hathaway Pines A caller said a bear cub was raiding garbage cans on the 500 block of Canyon View Drive.

9:26 a.m., Douglas Flat A caller said someone was siphoning gas from vehicles on the 1100 block of Highway 4.

7:01 p.m., Glencoe A caller said a chain saw as stolen from a barn on the 4700 block of Independence Road.

9:23 p.m., Dorrington A man said another man pulled up to his truck on the 3400 block of Muriettas Roost and tried to get into the caller's truck.


9:01 a.m., Vallecito A caller said a yard waste storage building was broken into on the 4300 block of Redhill Road.

11:06 a.m., Murphys A caller said a building on the first block of Highway 4 was hit by paint balls the night before.

12:31 p.m. Arnold A deputy found dirt bike riders trespassing on private property on the 2700 block of Black Oak Drive.

1:38 p.m., Arnold A caller said car parts and a motorcycle were stolen from a driveway on the 3000 block of Forest Lane.

10:17 p.m., West Point A caller said a fight occurred in front of a business on the 300 block of Main Street.


9:09 a.m., Black Court A caller on the 5600 block of Jasper Way said someone moved patio furniture.

11:09 a.m., San Andreas A caller said a propane tank was stolen from the 900 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

11:57 a.m., Avery A man on Fullen Road said some of his checks had been cashed.

1:28 p.m., Angels Camp A caller said a houseboat on New Melones Lake had been burglarized.

2:28 p.m., Douglas Flat A man on the 1400 block of Main Street said his caregiver threw urine on him.

8:52 p.m., Copperopolis A man on the 900 block of Sequoia Circle said another man came up to his car with a stick and threatened to beat him up.

9:20 p.m., Sheep Ranch A caller said a 10-year-old boy was trying to leave the 7400 block of Baldwin Street in his parents' van.


4:56 a.m., Arnold A caller said a man was singing loudly and causing a traffic hazard on the 1000 block of Highway 4.

Felony bookings


10:40 a.m., Angels Camp Jennifer Luann Li, 26, 1300 block of Taylor Street, San Francisco, booked on suspicion of committing second-degree robbery, grand theft, forgery, assaulting a police officer and possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia. Li remained in custody this morning at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $153,000 bail.

8 p.m., San Andreas Tina Marie Graham, 21, and Zhon Paul Gray, 33, both of the 200 block of Market Street, San Andreas, booked on suspicion of committing cruelty toward a child. Graham also was charged with assault and remained in custody this morning at the county jail in lieu of $115,000 bail. Gray remained in custody in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Chad Anthony Berset, 21, 1300 block of Love Street, Angels Camp, booked at 3:15 p.m. Friday after arrest on Bush Street in Angels Camp.

Pamela Cook, 43, 100 block of Sequoia Avenue, Valley Springs, booked at 8:40 p.m. Friday after arrest at the intersection of Chestnut and Daphne streets in Valley Springs.

Patrick Joseph Gardiner, 24, 200 block of Abigail Circle, Danville, booked at 1:40 p.m. Saturday after arrest at Connor Estates in Copperopolis.

Beau Beverett, 26, of Livermore, booked at 3:40 a.m. Saturday after arrest at the Murphys Firehouse on Jones Street in Murphys.

Ryan Dietz Garcia, 22, 1000 block of Suzanne Drive, Angels Camp, booked at 8:10 p.m. Sunday after arrest at the intersection of Highway 4 and Golden Creek Drive near Vallecito.

Jimmy Floyd Minyard, 38, 1300 block of 147th Avenue, San Leandro, booked at 3:40 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Harper Street in Valley Springs.



3:09 p.m., Double Springs A 62-acre grass fire was reported at Highway 12 and Double Springs Road. Cause of the fire is undetermined. Damage was estimated at $12,000. CDF, Foothill Fire Protection District, San Andreas Fire Protection District, one helicopter from CDF and one crew from Vallecito Conservation Camp responded.
