1:40 p.m., Jamestown area Scott Warren Anderson, 24, 18100 block of Lime Kiln Road, Sonora, booked on warrants charging him with burglary, forgery, passing worthless checks, failure to appear and probation violation after an arrest by a California Highway Patrol officer on Highway 108 east of Highway 120. No details were available. He remained held without bail this morning.
2:45 p.m., Tuolumne Dyanna Jeanneane Lamb, 33, 18400 block of Jamestown Road, Jamestown, and Laurel Elizabeth Newquist, 49, no address, Sonora, both booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property after a traffic stop and arrest on Me Wu Street at Tuolumne Road North.
According to a sheriff's report, a sheriff's deputy stopped the driver of the car because the 1989 Ford Taurus car had been reported stolen from a man in Sonora.
Lamb remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail. Newquist was held without bail because of a felony parole hold.
