MONDAY

9:41 a.m., East Sonora A man said a camera was stolen from a box while he was at a restaurant in The Junction shopping center Sunday.

9:48 a.m., Groveland A woman said someone tried to break into a car wash on the 18700 block of Highway 120 on Saturday night.

10:07 a.m., Jamestown A Jamestown apartment manager said when he asked two teenage boys to leave a breezeway area, the boys tried to start a fight with him.

10:17 a.m., Jamestown A Jamestown Community Day School employee said a 13-year-old boy left the school without permission.

11:38 a.m., Jamestown A woman said two tires on her car parked on the 10300 block of Preston Lane were flat after someone punched holes in them.

11:41 a.m., Twain Harte A man with the Tuolumne County Code Compliance team said an irate resident on Plateau Road blocked the caller in with a car.

12:15 p.m., Greenley Road area A woman on the 12000 block of Red Chestnut Lane said rings were stolen from her house over Christmas.

12:30 p.m., Columbia A caller on the 22400 block of Airport Road South said another resident in the mobile home park keeps opening her windows and screaming at neighbors. After a deputy spoke with the woman and left, she started screaming again.

1:25 p.m., Groveland A woman said a weigh house and hazardous material shed at the Groveland landfill on Merrell Road were broken into and some of the missing items were inside a car parked on the property.

4:01 p.m., East Sonora A woman said her son tried to run her off the road on Highway 108 near Tuolumne Road. She said it is an on-going problem.

4:22 p.m., Columbia A caller on the 23900 block of Italian Bar Road said a 50- to 60-year-old man wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and a leash around his neck was looking in windows at the caller's house. When the caller asked the man if he needed help, the man said he was "just looking," and walked away. A deputy looked but did not find the man.

7:46 p.m., Columbia A woman on the 22600 block of Broadway Street said a man assaulted her earlier in the evening when the hit her with an open hand.

8:22 p.m., Tuolumne A man said a white motorhome was parked on the 18400 block of Carter Street with people inside.

10:23 p.m., Tuolumne A caller said a wallet with $50 and credit cards inside was stolen from a locked vehicle parked on the 18300 block of Fir Avenue.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

5:18 p.m., Sonora Alvin Lee Thomson, 36, 3000 block of Preston Lane, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine for sale, possession of a dirk or dagger, assault with a deadly weapon, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and making criminal threats after an arrest on Mono Way at Barretta Street.

According to a Sonora police report, Thomson was walking past Kevin's Automotive on the 400 block of South Washington Street when the owner's dog barked at Thomson, and Thomson threatened the dog with a large knife. The shop's owner called Sonora police and an officer stopped Thomson walking on Mono Way. During a search, the officer found three baggies of methamphetamine, a 6-inch fixed-blade knife and a glass smoking pipe.

Thomson was released on his own recognizance after appearing before a judge yesterday.

5:24 p.m., Groveland Rebecca Elaine Huger-Ornbaum, 38, no address given, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a hypodermic needle after an arrest at the Groveland landfill on Merrell Road. No details were available. She was released yesterday after posting $10,000 bail.

9:50 p.m., Sonora Benjamin Israel Wolf, 24, 23100 block of Italian Bar Road, Columbia, booked on a warrant charging him with unlawful sex with a minor after he turned himself in at the Tuolumne County Jail. No details were available. He was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

George W. Parsons, 71, 18000 block of Woodham Carne Road, Tuolumne area, booked at 9:49 p.m. Monday after arrest on Tuolumne Road at Pine Street, Tuolumne.

MONDAY

8:43 a.m., public intoxication A caller said a man riding a bicycle on Stockton Road headed west was intoxicated. An officer was unable to find the man.

9:37 a.m., traffic accident No one was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Sonora Crossroads shopping center. A note was left on a car, but the telephone number was wrong.

10:59 a.m., public intoxication A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a caller found him lying on a sidewalk on Stockton Road.

1:12 p.m., theft A caller on the 300 block of South Barretta Street said a silver-and-orange bicycle, a saw and a weed eater were stolen.

3:49 p.m., traffic violation A 29-year-old man was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Greenley Road near the Tuolumne County Library.

5:34 p.m., vandalism A caller on the 300 block of Fairview Lane said three tires were flattened on his vehicle parked at his house.

5:36 p.m., found property A caller found a license plate and medication on South Stewart Street.

6:02 p.m., traffic accident There were minor injuries as a result of a traffic accident on Mono Way at Greenley Road.

7:27 p.m., suspicious circumstances An officer talked with several people in Coffill Park.

10:15 a.m., Sheep Ranch Criminal threats were made on the 16000 block of Armstrong Road.

10:41 a.m., Camanche An ongoing dispute over rocks was reported on the 11000 block of Arapaho Way.

4:15 p.m., Hathaway Pines A caller on the 5200 block of Highway 4 said his extremely drunken roommate was running around the house half naked and he found it offensive. He said when he tried to convince her to get dressed, she fought with him.

5:59 p.m., San Andreas Juveniles were possibly drunk in Turner Park.

6:14 p.m., Glencoe Juveniles were in a vacant house on the 16000 block of Highway 26.

6:43 p.m., Wilseyville A caller on the 4700 block of June Avenue said a vehicle almost hit their granddaughter, who was riding her horse.

7:24 p.m., Wallace A customer threatened a gas station attendant on the 8000 block of Highway 12.

9:34 p.m., Arnold A dog was barking on the 2200 block of Grace Court. A deputy arrived and the dog's owners brought their pet inside.

10:15 p.m., Angels Camp A man was loitering outside a fast-food restaurant on Highway 49.

TUESDAY

11:57 a.m., San Andreas Orval Dale Flannery, 29, 1100 block of Bald Mountain Road, West Point, booked on a Calaveras County warrant charging him with a felony parole violation after an arrest in Tuolumne County. No details were available. He remained held without bail this morning.

YESTERDAY

1:17 p.m., Murphys An escaped debris burn was reported on the 700 block of French Gulch Road. Murphys Fire Protection District, Angels Camp Fire Protection District, Altaville-Melones Fire Protection District and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.

2:37 p.m., Wilseyville An escaped debris burn was reported on the 5000 block of Blue Mountain Road. Foothill Fire Protection District and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.
