noon, Mi-Wuk Village A woman on the 20600 block of Chief Fuller Way said her house was broken into over the past four days.

12:45 p.m., Long Barn An ambulance driver said four or five boys near eastbound Highway 108 were throwing snowballs at passing vehicles.

2:12 p.m., Quail Hollow A caller said 10 teens were fighting on Grouse Way near Chukar Circle.

2:50 p.m., Groveland A woman on the 12800 block of Mueller Drive said window screens were removed from her house and that someone tried to pry the windows.

3:10 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 23100 block of Mark Twain Drive said a shed was broken into.

3:36 p.m., Jamestown A woman said another woman assaulted her on the corner of Seco Street and Preston Lane in an argument over a man.

4:21 p.m., Phoenix Lake area A woman on the 19800 block of Phoenix Lake Road said her truck was scratched and she suspected a neighbor's child.

4:23 p.m., Jamestown A woman said a potato gun was fired at her mother's mobile home on the 18100 block of Ninth Avenue. The siding was damaged and eight picture frames, valued at $16, on the other side of the wall that was shot were damaged. The woman estimated the gun caused $200 worth of damage to the siding.

5:22 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 17700 block of Woods Way said teens came into her mobile home and stole jewelry.

5:58 p.m., Tuolumne A Black Oak Casino security officer said a man in his late 30s had been asked to leave but refused. Before a deputy arrived however, the man left with two other people in his car.

6:13 p.m., Standard area A man said five or six teens near the 15100 block of Cavalieri Road were having a party and painting rocks and trees in the public right of way.

8:51 p.m., East Sonora A Best Western Sonora Oaks Motel employee said a drunken man was loitering outside the motel lobby and refused to leave.

Felony bookings


4:35 a.m., Jamestown area Manuel Garcia, 39, 2600 block of Santa Fe, Riverbank, booked on a Stanislaus County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance and giving false information to a peace officer. Terry Celia Perez, 37, 6500 block of First Street, Riverbank, was arrested at the same time and booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested after a traffic stop on the 18700 block of Highway 108 by Sonora police.

Garcia remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $25,500 bail. Perez was released Friday after posting $10,000 bail.

12:19 p.m., Twain Harte Robert Douglas Mendez, 28, 22600 block of Meadow Lane, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with passing worthless checks after an arrest on Twain Harte Drive at Joaquin Gully Drive. No details were available. He was released Friday after posting $10,000 bail.


3:25 a.m., Tuolumne Sean Drew Wallace, 38, 18500 block of Cedar Street, Tuolumne, booked on a warrant charging him with forgery after an arrest on Fir Street and Carter Street.

According to a sheriff's report, a deputy stopped Wallace for a traffic violation and suspected he was driving while drunk. While waiting for a California Highway Patrol officer to conduct a field sobriety test, the deputy discovered Wallace was wanted on the outstanding warrant.

Wallace was also booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $10,000 bail.


3:36 p.m., Jamestown Jake Derington Ryan, 21, 17400 block of Table Mountain Road, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of military desertion after an arrest on the 11000 block of Golf Links Road.

According to a sheriff's report, a woman called to say Ryan was out of control and throwing things around her house. A deputy who went to the house discovered Ryan was wanted by the U.S. Navy for being absent without leave.

Ryan remained in jail held this morning, held without bail.

Kristi Leigh Jokela, 47, 500 block of North 72nd Avenue, Omaha, Neb., booked at 1 a.m. Saturday after arrest on North Sunshine Road at Soulsbyville Road, Soulsbyville area.

Kyle Patrick Dupont, 20, unknown address on Rawhide Road, Jamestown, booked at 1:57 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Highway 49 at Jack Page Road, Sonora.



1:50 p.m., Phoenix Lake area A flue fire was reported on the 20100 block of Sommette Drive. Damage was estimated at $15,000 to the attic. Harold Danicourt of the same address owns the property. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

9:06 a.m., animal complaints A caller said a neighbor's seven dogs were barking for four hours on the 500 block of East Jackson Street. The call was referred to the city's animal control officer.

10:30 a.m., traffic violation A caller said the driver of a white Chevy pickup was speeding and passing recklessly on Mono Way. An officer stopped the truck and gave the driver a verbal warning.

11:57 a.m., miscellaneous codes A woman on the 400 block of Alpine Lane said a neighbor threw a bottle into the back yard.

1:09 p.m., warrant arrest A 41-year-old man was booked on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with violating probation from a drunken driving conviction after an arrest on the 20 block of Hope Lane.

2:26 p.m., warrant arrest A 24-year-old woman was booked on a misdemeanor warrant after an arrest on Grouse Way at Chukar Circle.

4:48 p.m., public peace A caller said a teenage boy in his underwear and a red baseball cap was running toward Quail Hollow apartments. The teen was wanted on a juvenile warrant and was arrested and taken to juvenile probation.

5:54 p.m., traffic violation A caller said a woman driving a red car was tailgating him on South Washington Street.

9:35 p.m., theft A woman on the 300 block of Alpine Lane said her driver's license was stolen out of her car parked there.

8:05 a.m., Burson A caller on the 6300 block of Abouf Court said teenagers had a party with a bonfire on her property.

11:22 a.m., San Andreas A caller on the 100 block of Snyder Court said her horses were shot with paint balls.

4:07 p.m., Vallecito A caller on the 3600 block of Poag Lane said four people were climbing into the window of a nearby house. A deputy arrived and found the homeowner had forgotten his keys and had climbed through the window.

4:23 p.m., San Andreas Tires were slashed on a car parked on the 300 block of Sunset Street.

5:10 p.m., San Andreas A caller on the 500 block of Angels Road said girls were harassing him or her.

5:34 p.m., San Andreas A battery victim with two swollen eyes and a missing tooth showed up at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.

5:55 p.m., Murphys A man left a convenience store on the first block of West Highway 4 with an open bottle of alcohol.

8:52 p.m., San Andreas A group of juveniles were arguing on the 400 block of East St. Charles Street.

1:06 p.m., Valley Springs Jerry Sheridan Miller, 24, 2600 block of Heney Lane, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary. Miller remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $10,000 bail.


12:28 a.m., Mokelumne Hill Rhonda Lynn Haaland, 49, no address listed, Mokelumne Hill, booked on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in her vehicle after arrest at the intersection of Highway 26 and Paloma Road. She was released from jail.
