6:14 a.m., Twain Harte A caller said a man and a woman were fighting near a red Jeep parked on the 22800 block of Twain Harte Drive.

7:39 a.m., East Sonora A man said a building on the 14300 block of Mono Way was burglarized.

11:18 a.m., Tuolumne A woman on the 18000 block of Bodenhammer Avenue said her daughter was being threatened by another teen.

12:26 p.m., East Sonora A man said the driver of a white Chevy Lumina was possibly drunk and headed west on Highway 108.

1 p.m., Jamestown A woman said two weed trimmers and a chain saw were stolen from her house on Park Avenue.

3:40 p.m., Cuesta Serena A man said he was being harassed by a man who was following him down the road in the subdivision.

4:01 p.m., Groveland A man said a garage on Vernal Drive was burglarized.

5:37 p.m., Crystal Falls A man said he saw two men in their early 20s hiding something in bushes on Wasatch Mountain Drive near Crystal Falls Drive.

6 p.m., Sonora area A caller said two men in a light blue Ford Explorer confronted a teenage boy skateboarding on Saratoga Road near Shaws Flat Road. The men took the boy's skateboard and when the caller approached the men, they threw the skateboard out the window.

6:22 p.m., Twain Harte A caller said a man was driving recklessly on Huron Drive.

7:03 p.m., Sugar Pine A man said his credit card was fraudulently used at a business on the 24200 block of Highway 108.

9:16 p.m., Twain Harte A man said the driver of a silver Bronco ran him off Superior Drive near Ontario Drive and hit his left rear tire. When the man got out of the car to inspect the damage, the driver yelled at him.

9:20 p.m., Twain Harte Three vehicles were parked in the Twain Harte Village Center on Tiffeni Drive with teenagers inside drinking.

9:43 p.m., Jamestown area A woman said two people on O'Byrnes Ferry Road stopped on the road and exchanged brown bags. The woman gave a sheriff's dispatcher a description of the two vehicles.

9:57 p.m., Groveland A tow-truck operator asked for a sheriff's escort to tow a disabled car from the 19700 block of Old Highway 120 after the car owner got irate.

11:15 p.m., Sonora Meadows A 20-year-old woman was cited for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Crestview Drive.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Hollie Marie Richards, 38, 23600 block of Highway 108, Twain Harte, booked at 9 p.m. Monday after arrest on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive, Twain Harte.

8:10 a.m., traffic violations A 35-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

10:48 a.m., traffic accident A Sonora city vehicle was involved in non-injury traffic accident on Theall Street.

2:08 p.m., traffic accident No one was injured in an accident on South Shepherd Street.

2:57 p.m., theft A woman who was stopped for shoplifting and Pak-N-Save employees were involved in an argument at the store on Sanguinetti Road.

3:03 p.m., traffic accident No one was injured in a parking lot accident on South Washington Street near Restano Way.

4:31 p.m., theft A woman in custody at the county jail said checks were stolen from her house on Snell Street.

6:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances A woman on the 300 block of Calaveras Way said two men knocked on her door soliciting vacuum cleaners, but the woman did not see any vacuum cleaners or a vehicle.

7:11 p.m., public intoxication Two boys were arrested and turned over to the juvenile probation department after a caller saw them arguing on Snell Street near South Washington Street. The boys were suspected of being drunk in public.

8:11 p.m., theft A man found in the break room at Mervyn's on Sanguinetti Road was suspected of stealing items from the store.

1:17 p.m., Hathaway Pines An ongoing dispute between two men was reported on the 100 block of Cedar Drive.

2:54 p.m., Angels Camp A non-injury vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 4 and Horseshoe Drive.

6:30 p.m., Avery Fireworks were set off on the 3900 block of Highway 4.

Felony bookings


11 a.m., San Andreas Wade Clinton Springer, 37, 200 block of Rail Road Flat Road, Rail Road Flat, booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was released on his own recognizance.
