Dogs decked for the season, Chelsea (left) and Mister, Janet Fiala's 12 year-old miniature schnauzers, nuzzle one another. Wanting to find a way to give rather than receive at the holidays, Fiala, of Standard, created a project she calls"Paws for the Cause." For $10, people can have photos of their pets taken with Santa, wearing antlers, Santa hats, halos and other props provided by Fiala. Proceeds go toward the Relay for Life, a race held each spring to support cancer research. Fiala already has held one photo shoot, and a second is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Realty World Alta Sierra in Sonora.
