10:29 a.m., Crystal Falls A woman on the 21000 block of Feather River Drive said a camera and CD player were stolen from her house.

12:16 p.m., Jamestown A caller said a video camera, sunglasses, a CD player and CDs were stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked on the 10300 block of Willow Street.

2:16 p.m., East Sonora A caller said the driver of a blue Cadillac intentionally rammed his car in The Junction shopping center parking lot.

3:08 p.m., Columbia A woman heard several loud explosions coming from the back of a building on the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive. A deputy checked and found several people blowing up plastic bottles during a party.

3:46 p.m., Quail Hollow A caller on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle said a 14-year-old neighbor he had told to leave was standing outside the house yelling and swearing.

3:49 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road said her daughter told her some kids had knives.

5:31 p.m., Columbia A woman came to the Sheriff's Department to say her vehicle had been vandalized while it was parked on the 22000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

6:25 p.m., Columbia A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness on the 22800 block of Italian Bar Road.

7:31 p.m., Jamestown A man said a maroon pickup truck was parked on Main Street near the Catholic Cemetery and he thought it was suspicious.

7:53 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman found a set of keys on Highway 108 and turned them over to a deputy.

9:40 p.m., Twain Harte A "be-on-the-lookout" bulletin was issued for a man and a woman dressed in dark clothing who tried to steal a vehicle from a house on the 22000 block of Highland Drive.

11:02 p.m., Columbia A man on the 23200 block of Italian Bar Road said he could hear the voices of people attempting to burglarize his house.

Felony bookings


3:53 a.m., Sonora area Jeffrey David Roberts, 36, 2300 block of Butte Road, Murphys, booked on a felony parole hold after an arrest on Jamestown Road at Mt. Brow Road.

A deputy stopped Roberts for a traffic violation and he was allegedly found with methamphetamine. A 31-year-old woman with Roberts also was booked on misdemeanor drug possession. He was held in jail without bail this morning.

11:15 p.m., Jamestown Robert Wayne Bryan, 38, 500 block of North Highway 49, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and possessing methamphetamine for sale after an arrest on Fifth Avenue at Willow Street.

According to a sheriff's report, a deputy stopped Bryan for a traffic violation. While the deputy was searching Bryan's car, the deputy saw him take a plastic baggie out of his cellular telephone and put it in his pocket. The deputy then searched Bryan's pockets and found two small baggies with methamphetamine inside.

He remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $20,000 bail.


1:31 a.m., Tuolumne Jamie Lee Marshall, 41, 18000 block of Apple Colony Road, Tuolumne, booked on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and possessing methamphetamine for sale after arrest on Ponderosa Way.

A sheriff's report said a deputy stopped Marshall for driving with an expired Nevada license plate. Marshall consented to having her car searched and the deputy found .27 grams of methamphetamine in a pen cap and some prescription pills in a bottle.

She remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $20,000 bail.

6:59 p.m., East Sonora A 65-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of felony spousal battery and damaging a telephone line after arrest at her Longeway Road home.

Lt. John Steely said the woman hit her husband several times with a cane.

She remained in jail this morning, held in lieu of $35,000 bail.

7:25 p.m., Standard Eric Eugene Hammond, 26, 14100 block of Big Hill Road, Columbia area, booked on suspicion of felony vandalism and misdemeanor drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license after arrest on the 18700 block of Standard Road.

According to sheriff's reports, a California Highway Patrol officer stopped a truck driven by Hammond because the officer suspected the driver was intoxicated. After giving Hammond a field sobriety test, the officer put him in his patrol car while the officer checked on a female passenger who was vomiting.

While Hammond was in the patrol car, the report said, he kicked out the back window of the vehicle.

Hammond remained in custody this morning, held in lieu of $5,000 bail.


4:14 a.m., Sonora Melissa May Williamson, 32, 300 block of South Washington Street, Sonora, booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and on a misdemeanor warrant charging failure to education code violations after arrest at her home.

According to a Sonora police report, Williamson threatened to cut a woman's throat. She remained in custody this morning, held in lieu of $25,750 bail.

Beth Michell Tapia, 19, 2200 block of Chrysler Drive, Modesto, booked at 2:20 a.m. Saturday after arrest on Paseo de los Portales at Paseo de los Robles, Phoenix Lake area.

Samuel James Mangalin, 60, 100 block of West Yaney Street, Sonora, booked at 5:36 p.m. Saturday after arrest on Stockton Road, Sonora.

Gilbert Dean Bostwicks Jr., 43, 1200 block of West Avenue, Turlock, booked at 1:10 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Highway 108 at Golf Links Road, Jamestown area.

Aaron Christopher Dickerson, 24, 16100 block of Via Este, Sonora, booked at 2:42 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Lyons Street at Hope Lane, Sonora.

Joshua Willis Lingo, 21, 19800 block of Hani Drive, Tuolumne, booked at 3:25 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Jamestown Road and Fifth Avenue, Jamestown.

Sonora police reports


12:06 a.m., public intoxication A 24-year-old woman and a 42-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness on the 200 block of Southgate Drive.

1:18 a.m., public intoxication A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 100 block of Hospital Road.

3:09 p.m., traffic accidents No one was injured, but a 2003 Toyota Camry was hit by another car while it was parked at the Sonora Crossroads shopping center.



6:45 a.m., Groveland area A structure fire was reported on the 20020 block of Old Highway 120. Members of the Groveland Community Services District Fire Department doused the flames before anyone else arrived. GCSD Fire Department, Tuolumne County Fire Department and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.


11 a.m., Sonora Kids playing with Molotov cocktails were reported at an undisclosed address on Morning Star Drive. Sonora City Fire Department and CDF responded, but found no one.

8:45 a.m., West Point A woman on the 300 block of Stanley Road said a neighbor took medications, food stamps and cigarettes from her house.

11:49 a.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 2000 block of Gallius Lane said people were riding an off-road vehicle across the street and shouldn't be there.

8:43 p.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 6000 block of Cane Lane heard a loud noise behind the caller's house and what sounded like a basement door opening. A deputy was unable to locate anyone.

Felony bookings


5:20 p.m., Valley Springs Mark Allen Norried, 52, 200 block of Sequoia Avenue, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance after arrest at a mini mart. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Jeffrey Allen Cammisa, 42, 1000 block of Tuolumne Street, Angels Camp, booked at 8:15 p.m. Sunday after arrest on Highway 4 in Angels Camp.

Michael Renee Romero, 25, address unavailable, Escalon, booked at 6:10 p.m. Sunday after arrest on Highway 4 and Six Mile Road in Vallecito.

Chad Martin Fairchild, 23, 300 block of David Lee Road, Arnold, booked at 8:43 a.m. Sunday after arrest on Stallion Way in Angels Camp. He also was booked on suspicion of resisting a peace officer and vandalism. He was released after posting $10,000 bail.

Shawn Andrew Powers, 19, address unavailable, Valley Springs, booked at 1:30 p.m. Friday after arrest on Highway 12 near Toyon Drive.
