MONDAY

7:04 a.m., Sonora area A man on the 9000 block of Shepherd Ranch Road said bags of trash were dumped at the end of his driveway. Papers inside the bag indicated the trash came from a bank in Twain Harte.

7:49 a.m., Groveland A woman said her plane parked at Pine Mountain Lake Airport was broken into. Radio headsets, a pilot's license and a gasoline card were stolen.

8:17 a.m., Standard area A man said 200 starter plants, valued at $600 to $700, were destroyed at Solomon Gardens on the 18100 block of Blue Bell East Road.

8:48 a.m., Twain Harte A caller said a squatter was trespassing on property on the 23000 block of South Fork Road.

9:44 a.m., Twain Harte A caller said two homes on the 22600 block of Knox Drive were broken into. A radio, extension cords, a rivet gun, nails and paint were stolen.

11:03 a.m., Phoenix Lake area A caller from the 21500 block of Phoenix Lake Road said a man threatened his two children with a knife Saturday night.

11:14 a.m., Jamestown A Chicken Ranch Bingo employee said three money orders passed at the casino Friday night turned out to be stolen.

11:49 a.m., Columbia A man said a window of a vehicle parked at Columbia Airport was broken.

11:53 a.m., Crystal Falls A man on the 22100 block of Feather River Drive said the man who who stole his tools promised to return them, but has not done so.

1:13 p.m., Jamestown A blue bicycle was found near a business on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

1:25 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 13000 block of Park Avenue said she received a threatening phone call from a man who was going to collect for tires he thinks the caller vandalized.

1:38 p.m., Standard area A man said three large truck tires were dumped at Urethane Specialists on the 18900 block of Industry Way by a man and a woman driving a red pickup.

2:09 p.m., Crystal Falls A woman said she saw a suspicious-looking man walking in back of a house on Autumn Lane acting strangely, mumbling to himself and waving his arms. She said she saw the same man four days earlier and he was wearing the same clothing.

2:26 p.m., Columbia A deputy went to Columbia Elementary School to handle a problem with kids at the school playground.

2:41 p.m., Columbia A caller said a woman was screaming and yelling at a house on the 22000 block of Bennett Road.

3:54 p.m., Twain Harte A man said two young children were left inside a red Land Rover with the engine running while a woman driver went inside the Post Office on Fuller Road. The man talked to the woman inside the lobby and expressed his concern for the toddlers. The woman left in the vehicle headed toward downtown Twain Harte, the man said.

5:31 p.m., Twain Harte A man said a person who was camping on his property on South Fork Road has moved, but is now camping on a neighbor's property.

5:33 p.m., Jamestown A caller said a woman was walking around a parking lot on the 10300 block of Preston Lane with a bottle of tequila and a methamphetamine smoking pipe.

6:54 p.m., East Sonora A caller said a man parked at The Junction shopping center in a white Mustang appeared to be watching people at an ATM machine through binoculars.

10:52 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said a man was underneath a stairwell moaning. A deputy talked to the man who was homeless and was under the stairs trying to stay warm. The man agreed to leave.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

8:07 p.m., Willow Springs Kasey Allen Questo, 19, 20500 block of Tracy Court, Willow Springs, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property after arrest at his home. No details were available. He remained held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY

12:11 a.m., suspicious circumstances A Sonora Inn employee said a man tried to get into a motel room for free.

2:12 a.m., public intoxication A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness at a restaurant on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

6:54 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller on the 200 block of South Stewart Street said items looked disturbed in a garage that might have been broken into.

8:11 a.m., vandalism A window at a business on the 900 block of Sylva Lane was shot with a BB gun.

1:35 p.m., theft A bicycle was stolen from a house on the 300 block of Fairview Lane.

3:06 p.m., vandalism Faucets at a building on the 400 block of South Stewart Street were damaged.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

Sheriff's reports

MONDAY

6:16 a.m., Arnold A caller on the 700 block of Ponderosa Way said someone was stealing firewood.

3:25 p.m., Copperopolis A caller on the 4000 block of Bayview Drive said neighbors riding three-wheelers were ruining the caller's property.

4:50 p.m., Sheep Ranch A man on the 10000 block of El Dorado Center said someone was illegally panning for gold on his property. The rocks were returned to the landowner.

8:35 p.m., Arnold A man on the 2000 block of Patricia Lane said three bears were on his deck, trying to enter his house through a window. He said he fired two shotgun rounds and hit one bear with a broomstick, but the bears didn't leave. However, they took off before authorities arrived.

9:45 p.m., Mountain Ranch A man on the 7000 block of Rail Road Flat Road said two men came to his door, knocked him down, kicked him and left.
