Oak Canyon open house tonight

Questions about Oak Canyon Ranch's development agreement will be answered at a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. today at Black Creek Park in Copperopolis.

At the meeting, District 5 Calaveras County Supervisor Victoria Erickson will go over the staff report and final environmental impact report on the project.

Developers of Oak Canyon Ranch will take the proposed 2,275-home subdivision south of Highway 4 in Copperopolis to the Calaveras Planning Commission later this month. The commission meeting is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Calaveras County Government Center in San Andreas.

Before commissioners will be several project permits, including a development agreement that lists all the terms Oak Canyon Ranch developers must meet.
