8:08 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A man on the 20700 block of Muheli Road said a plate was thrown through a side window of his van.
11 a.m., Sonora area A school teacher found checks, a vehicle registration sticker and a license plate at the school on the 21100 block of School Road.
11:11 a.m., Jamestown An Amador-Tuolumne Community Action Agency employee said over the last two weekends several cases of food have been taken from the food bank on the 10000 block of Victoria Way.
11:16 a.m., Ranchos Poquitos A woman on the 19800 block of Corte Primero said her house was broken into but nothing appeared to have been taken.
11:48 a.m., Soulsbyville A woman said her husband parked his big-rig truck at the Soulsbyville scales overnight and an oil cap and tool bar were stolen.
1:35 p.m., Tuolumne Road area A woman said she saw a man driving a white Toyota Celica car recklessly up Tuolumne Road toward Tuolumne. The woman said the man was punching someone or something in the passenger seat.
2:36 p.m., Tuolumne A man said two houses he owns on the 22600 block of Knox Drive were broken into. A wood stove was stolen from one house.
3:14 p.m., Groveland A woman said her vehicle, parked on the 19500 block of Chaffee Circle, was broken into and a cell phone and residential gate opener were stolen.
5:09 p.m., Sonora area A woman said she saw a man lying on the right side of Highway 108 near Stockton Road, but didn't stop and was not sure if he needed medical attention. A deputy checked the area but did not find the man.
5:23 p.m., Big Oak Flat A woman on the 9500 block of Priest Coulterville Road said a chain saw and gasoline can were stolen from a house.
5:34 p.m., Sonora area A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a switchblade knife after an arrest on South Washington Street at Highway 108. A deputy saw two men standing on the side of the road and another man running out of some bushes, so the deputy stopped to talk to the men. The deputy found the knife on the man when he was searched.
9:07 a.m., Columbia A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing after he was detained by a Columbia College security officer. The man had been warned before to stay away from the college dorms.
8 a.m. Sonora Antonio Arenas Arenas, 19; Juan Jose Arenas, 23; Jose Carlos Romero-Ramirez, 19, and Jose Guillermo Perez, 23, all of the 600 block of Sanguinetti Road, Sonora, and Leobardo Villanueva Alcocer, 24, of the 8900 block of Fraguero Road, Sonora, were all booked on suspicion of being illegal immigrants to the United States after an arrest on the 600 block of Sanguinetti Road.
A Sonora police officer stopped a car driven by Alcocer for a traffic violation and discovered Alcocer did not have a valid driver's license. The officer checked on the other men in the car, discovered none had valid permits to be in the United States and arrested them all.
All five men were picked up by federal immigration officials yesterday.
12:42 p.m., Columbia A 48-year-old woman on the 18800 block of Manzanita Avenue, Twain Harte, booked on suspicion of felony battery after an arrest at a house on Green Street, Columbia. She was released Tuesday after posting $35,000 bail.
2:38 p.m., Sonora area David Lee Mozingo, 42, 10400 block of Mt. Brow Road, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with forgery and passing a forged check after an arrest on the 70 block of Leonards Addition Road, Sonora. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $30,000 bail.
7:46 p.m., Sonora Damien Dipago, 21, 17900 block of Seco Street, Jamestown booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest at Save Mart on the 1000 block of Mono Way. An off-duty Save Mart employee said DiPago stole a bottle of rum from the store.
Dipago remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

9:57 a.m., traffic violations A man on the 400 block of South Washington Street said an elderly man was driving all over the road and ran through two stop signs without stopping.
10:04 a.m., threats A Social Security employee said a person came in to the office on the 1100 block of Highway 49 and threatened employees.
11:45 a.m., lost property A man said he lost a trailer license plate somewhere in Sonora.
11:54 a.m., reckless driving A woman on the 500 block of South Barretta Street said cars were racing up and down the street. An officer checked the area but didn't find anything unusual.
1:04 p.m., animal complaints A woman said as she walked by the 200 block of North Washington Street she heard a dog yelping as if it was in pain.
2:08 p.m., traffic violation A truck and trailer hit a light pole on Greenley Road at Mono Way.
4:44 p.m., traffic accident A woman on the 16900 block of Chicken Ranch Road said the driver of a white Ford flatbed truck drove past her vehicle and took off the side mirror to her car. The driver continued east on Highway 108 past The Junction shopping center.
6:24 p.m., theft A woman said cash was stolen from her room overnight when she stayed at a motel on Stockton Road.
10:48 p.m., traffic violation A caller said a driver in a white Isuzu Rodeo vehicle appeared to be drunk.
11:01 p.m., warrant arrest A 20-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Highway 49.
11:40 a.m., Twain Harte area A fire was reported on the 23000 block of Erie Court. Damage was estimated at $3,000 to a kerosene heater, a room and its contents. A mechanical failure in the heater caused the fire. William McNally of the same address owns the property. Tuolumne County Fire Department, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Mi-Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District and Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department responded.
2 p.m., Tuolumne area An escaped debris burn was reported on the 18000 block of Apple Blossom Lane. Damage was estimated at $100 to grass and vegetation. A citation was issued. Joel Vermeer of the same address owns the property. Tuolumne City Fire Protection District, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and one crew from Baseline Conservation Camp responded.
3 p.m., Columbia area A small spot fire was reported on the 22000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. No damage was reported. The fire was caused by vehicle exhaust. Tuolumne County Roads owns the property. Tuolumne County Fire Department and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.
7:58 a.m., Valley Springs A rock thrown from a passing vehicle broke a windshield on the 200 block of Highway 12.
1:10 p.m., San Andreas A road construction crew near the Pioneer Cemetery on Highway 12 found what crew members thought was a pipe bomb. County authorities deemed the object was safe.
2:58 p.m., Valley Springs A caller's home was burglarized on the 8000 block of Siegel Street.
3:57 p.m., Valley Springs Two men were seen fighting in a parking lot near the 70 block of Mangili Road. They were gone before a deputy could get there.
4:13 p.m., San Andreas A camouflage jeep was seen on the side of the road near Highway 12 and Double Springs Road.
7:28 p.m., Sheep Ranch A caller on the 15000 block of Armstrong Road said he was hit in the head with a flashlight.
8:01 p.m., Valley Springs A house on the 9000 block of Redman Road was broken into.
