8:25 a.m., Columbia A woman said things were being thrown and people were yelling and screaming at a house on the 10900 block of Green Street.

9:23 a.m., East Sonora A Money Mart employee said a man with a shaved head, sunglasses and a black jacket was in the store on the 13700 block of Mono Way trying to cash a stolen check.

9:47 a.m., Tuolumne A man reported Tuolumne Memorial Hall on the 18400 block of Fir Avenue was vandalized.

10:42 a.m., Jamestown The owner of Jimtown Frosty on the 18300 block of Main Street said $13 was stolen from a cash drawer when someone broke in through an order window.

11:06 a.m., Crystal Falls A caller said a man with long, black, curly hair, walking up Crystal Falls Drive near Bear River Drive, was exposing himself.

11:22 a.m., Mono Village A woman said her wallet was stolen Oct. 10, and she has evidence to show that her ATM card was used to get $300 from her account.

11:27 a.m., Don Pedro area A woman on the 2300 block of Zarzamora Street said four guns, valued at $950, were stolen from her house when someone got in through a locked back door.

1:02 p.m., East Sonora A man at Tom Martin Logging on the 14400 block of Tuolumne Road said batteries, gasoline and tools were stolen from the business.

1:30 p.m., Standard area A woman at Cal Sierra Disposal on the 14900 block of Camage Avenue said the business was burglarized and $100 was stolen.

2:41 p.m., Jamestown A man said trespassers were on his property at an undisclosed address on Jamestown Road. He asked for a deputy to meet him.

4:10 p.m., Columbia area A caller on the 11200 block of McKellar Drive said a small rattlesnake was sitting in front of the garage and wouldn't leave. Before a deputy arrived, the snake crawled away.

4:13 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 21400 block of Hunts Road said a former relative has been spraying weed killer on the man's bushes for the last six months.

5:22 p.m., Long Barn A woman said Long Barn Lodge on the 25900 block of Long Barn Road was burglarized.

6:46 p.m., Standard area A man on the 19000 block of Serrano Road said teens riding three-wheeled motorcycles were on his property scaring his horses.

7:06 p.m., Sonora area A caller at an apartment complex off Cabezut Road said her teenage granddaughter had been getting threats from another teenage girl who might be stalking the granddaughter.

7:17 p.m., Columbia A man said a passenger in a silver Toyota pickup threw a beer can at another vehicle while the two vehicles were in a parking lot on Parrotts Ferry Road. The truck took off toward Sonora.

8:01 p.m., Twain Harte A 35-year-old woman was arrested at her home on Manzanita Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor battery.

11:33 p.m., Sonora Meadows A man on Creekside Drive near Sallander Drive said he found a box of rat poison and a threatening note in his mailbox.


5:54 a.m., Tuolumne A Black Oak Casino security officer said a person who passed a counterfeit bill was in the security office.

9:55 a.m., Tuolumne A man on the 18700 block of Carter Street said two people poured paint on his sidewalk.

11:09 a.m., Soulsbyville A man on the 1700 block of Monte Grande Road said a bicycle was stolen.

1:29 p.m., Twain Harte A woman on the 22900 block of Black Oak Drive reported an attempted burglary.

2:09 p.m., Twain Harte A man said some people were in his residence on the 23100 block of Strauch Drive without his permission.

4:05 p.m., Sierra Village A woman said someone burglarized her home on the 24900 block of Highway 108.

4:12 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 20000 block of Davis Flat Road said someone tried to burglarize a home.

4:55 p.m., Sonora area A man said someone keyed his vehicle on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

5:07 p.m., Soulsbyville A woman on the 20600 block of Gaughen Court said someone was using her credit card and charged $70 worth of purchases at two businesses.

6:24 p.m., Sonora area A man reported a burglary at a home on the 17400 block of Highgrade Lane.

6:54 p.m., Tuolumne A woman said a man hit her in the face and stomach after she saw him and another man walking on her property on the 18400 block of Hershey Road. After being hit, the woman ran back to the house, she said. The men stayed behind and were laughing at her as she ran, she said.


6:32 a.m., Sonora area A woman said she found an entertainment center in her driveway on the 22100 block of Crystal Falls Drive. She said her neighbors were partying during the night and dragged the furniture into her driveway.

8:48 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman on the 20500 block of Chief Fuller Way said someone took a wallet from her vehicle.

9:26 a.m., Groveland A woman on the 10200 block of Yosemite Springs Road said someone tapped her phone line.

9:51 a.m., Crystal Falls A woman said someone stole an orange cone from her driveway on the 21900 block of Fallview Drive.

10:42 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A man on the 20600 block of Chief Fuller Way said someone threw a rock through the window of his vehicle and took a wallet.

11:29 a.m., Twain Harte A woman with the U.S. Forest Service said someone vandalized a shed and some iron shutters at the lookout on Mount Elizabeth.

12:40 p.m., Columbia A woman on the 13200 block of Shale Rock Road said her son was assaulted by two people.

1:01 p.m., Twain Harte A woman reported two kids were mooning cars on the top of a railroad bridge on East Avenue.

2:08 p.m., Sonora area A man on the 19900 block of Waif Mine Road said a neighbor cut his phone life and threatened his life.

3:54 p.m., Twain Harte A caller said someone stole a sign on South Fork Road for the Heavenly Hills Christian Camp.

4:34 p.m., Groveland A man said a motorcycle was stolen from inside an unlocked, closed garage on the 22100 block of Hells Hollow.

10:55 p.m., Soulsbyville A woman said a home on the 16600 block of Allison Way was burglarized. Someone removed the swamp cooler to enter the home, she said.


12:54 a.m., Groveland A woman calling from a pay phone said two people were fighting in front of a bar on the 18700 block of Highway 120.

2:24 a.m., Jamestown A woman said a man was assaulted at Moccasin Point Marina.

4:19 a.m., Sonora area A caller said some people were fighting on the 13700 block of Mono Way. Another caller said there had been a non-injury accident and one man was challenging others to fight.

Felony bookings


Noon, Sonora Travis Lee Pfeiffer, 34, 700 block of Orchard Avenue, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging him with vehicle theft after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Jail, where he was held on other matters.

Pfeiffer remained in custody this morning on the warrant in lieu of $10,000 bail.

4:21 p.m., Sonora Jerry Lee Makules, 41, 25100 block of Highway 108, Sierra Village, booked on suspicion of petty theft with prior convictions for petty theft and misdemeanor theft after an arrest at Wal-Mart in Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

A store clerk detained Makules on suspicion of shoplifting. Makules remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Liesa Lorraine Marmie, 36, unspecified address, booked at 11:02 p.m. Thursday after arrest on Cheryl Way east of Knox Drive, Twain Harte.

4:24 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a Toyota station wagon without a driver was going the wrong direction on Oak Street.

8:17 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said an older white pickup truck parked in a lot at Tuolumne General Hospital for four days with a blanket covering something in the cab from which there came a strong odor. An officer checked and found nothing unusual.

9:45 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a man was staying in a vacant building on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

12:05 p.m., theft A caller said a video game control was stolen from a house on the 100 block of Columbia Way.

12:42 p.m., vehicle accident No one was injured in a traffic accident on North Washington Street near Sonora High School.

12:50 p.m., found property A caller on the 200 block of Ridge Road said a television was dumped on her doorstep.

2:40 p.m., hazardous situation Oil was spilled on the first floor of a parking garage on North Washington Street. Environmental Health workers from the county were called out.

3:26 p.m., traffic accident One driver complained of pain after a two-vehicle accident on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

5 p.m., theft A woman on the 300 block of Fairview Lane said a package she left in out-going mail at her apartment complex was stolen.

5:28 p.m., vandalism A caller on the 300 block of Calaveras Way said a vehicle parked there was vandalized.

8:48 p.m., miscellaneous harassment A caller said three men were harassing another man and making fun of him on the 300 block of South Washington Street.


9:25 a.m., suspicious circumstance A caller said a bunch of garbage and junk was on the 200 block of Ridge Road.

12:10 p.m., suspicious circumstance A woman at an office on the 1100 block of Highway 49 said it appeared someone was living in an abandoned building nearby. She also said someone had been hitting golf balls and throwing rocks at the office from a residence. Someone from the residence had a rifle pointed at the office earlier in the day, she said.

5:34 p.m., suspicious circumstance A caller said a man tried to run him over in a parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

9:15 p.m., suspicious circumstance A caller reported hearing something hit a building on the 200 block of North Washington Street. The caller found golf balls in the area.

10:33 p.m., controlled substance A caller said two men on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road were possibly using marijuana.


1:46 a.m., fight A caller said several people were fighting on the first block of South Washington Street.

4:51 a.m., found property A police officer found 27 grams of marijuana in a plastic baggie after a fight on the first block of South Washington Street.

3:01 p.m., theft A man said someone stole his wallet while he was sitting on a picnic table on the first block of Pesce Way.

3:32 p.m., suspicious circumstance A woman said another woman tried to run her over in a parking lot on the 100 block of Columbia Way.

9 p.m., theft A child was cited on suspicion of shoplifting at Wal-Mart.

10:11 p.m., public intoxication A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on South Shepherd Street.

6:42 a.m., Arnold A caller said the gates at the county yard were standing open in the wrong direction and vehicles had been taken.

9:28 a.m., Valley Springs A caller said some items were taken from an unlocked vehicle on the first block of Daphne Street.

1:39 p.m., San Andreas A caller on the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road said people in the apartments next door keep urinating on the caller's fence.

10:38 p.m., Jenny Lind A theft was reported on the 10800 block of Milton Road.

The sheriff's department did not supply reports for Friday and Sunday.

Felony bookings


12:49 p.m., Copperopolis Anthony Gorden Liegl, 36, 4000 block of Kiva Court, Copperopolis, booked on suspicion of felony parole violation after arrest at his home. He was transported to another agency.

9:25 p.m., Vallecito A 42-year-old Vallecito man was booked on suspicion of spousal battery and disorderly conduct after arrest at his home. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $55,000 bail.

John Tracy Gordon, 42, 4000 block of Hartvickson Lane, Valley Springs, booked at 7:15 p.m. Saturday after arrest on South Camanche Way.

Danna Lee Lewis, 43, 16000 block of Sallander Drive, booked at 3:30 p.m. Friday after arrest at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital in San Andreas.
