MONDAY

7:23 a.m., East Sonora A Best Western Sonora Oaks front desk clerk said a guest's car was broken into overnight.

8:11 a.m., Lime Kiln Road area A sheriff's deputy was flagged down by a citizen who said the driver of a brown Camaro was trying to forcibly take a person out of a Toyota 4-Runner near Lime Kiln Road and Campo Seco Road.

8:36 a.m., Jamestown A man on the 9000 block of O'Neil Court said he received a counterfeit $10 bill in the last two days.

12:55 p.m., Jamestown An employee at Hillcrest Manor on Chabroullian Lane said a broach and a necklace were stolen from two residents' rooms.

1:45 p.m., Wards Ferry area A woman on the 18200 block of Old Wards Ferry Road said checks were stolen out of her check book. She didn't realize the theft until an employee at a local restaurant called her to ask if she had written a check to a man.

3:06 p.m., Sonora area A man said his wife's purse was missing after he had given two men a ride from Twain Harte to Quail Hollow apartments.

5:40 p.m., Jamestown A man on the 17000 block of Seco Street said a neighbor was standing outside his apartment waving a .9 mm handgun around, making threats. The man with the gun was arrested on suspicion of brandishing a firearm.

9:26 p.m., Columbia A caller said a driver was in a vehicle on Bennett Road shining a spotlight.

YESTERDAY

12:40 a.m., Twain Harte A caller said a man was standing over a woman on the ground on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road. When asked if they needed help, the caller said he did not get a straight answer.

9:30 a.m., Sonora Sabrina Anne Pestoni, 23, 12700 block of Chukar Circle, Sonora booked on suspicion of theft of an elder after an arrest at the Tuolumne County Sheriff's investigators' office. No details were available. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.

9:27 a.m., vandalism A man said graffiti had been written on Pasadena and West Lane.

2:35 p.m., traffic accident No one was injured in a traffic accident on the 800 block of Greenley Road, but a caller said the two drivers were arguing over who was at fault. A police officer took a report.

2:41 p.m., traffic violation A 41-year-old woman was cited and released for driving without a license after a woman reported another woman was driving her truck without permission.

4:47 p.m., traffic accidents One person complained of pain after a traffic accident on the 400 block of North Washington Street. No further details were available.

5:38 p.m., warrant arrest A 40-year-old woman was booked on two misdemeanor warrants after an arrest at Mervyn's. A woman at the store said a man and a woman were fighting.

5:56 p.m., theft A teenage boy was arrested and released to his mother after a caller said the boy had stolen a bicycle from Sonora High School and was riding it at the Greenley Road skate park.

7:48 a.m., Rail Road Flat A vehicle was reported broken into on the 1000 block of Rail Road Flat Road.

10:46 a.m., San Andreas Items were stolen from a tow yard on Highway 49 near the old Calaveras County airport.

2:48 p.m., Rail Road Flat A man on the 600 block of Outback Way said he found a tent on his property and suspected someone was be living there.

3:18 p.m., Valley Springs Someone found a 6-year-old sleeping on the shoulder of a road.

4:02 p.m., Valley Springs A vehicle was found stripped and abandoned near Silver Rapids Road.

9:24 p.m., Valley Springs A person was seen walking around near the 2000 block of Reed Way, shining a light into people's houses.

9:27 p.m., Fricot City Four juveniles ran away from a group home but were caught by the home's staff four miles away.

YESTERDAY

11:01 p.m., Valley Springs Andrew Joseph Morris, 29, 3000 block of Dunn Road, booked on suspicion of possessing, manufacturing and selling a dangerous weapon after he was arrested at his home.

11:50 p.m., San Andreas Michael Edward Patenaude, 38, 900 block of St. Andrew Drive, Rio Vista, booked on suspicion of felony parole violation and threatening crime with intent to terrorize after arrest at a San Andreas gas station.

11:45 a.m., San Andreas Lee David Purdue, 33, 800 block of Park Street, Lodi, booked on county warrants for possessing a controlled substance and probation violation. He turned himself in at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.

9:54 a.m., San Andreas Joel Garrett Taylor, 22, 100 block of Broadway Street, booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon in his car and carrying a loaded firearm in public. He was arrested in Amador County and brought to Calaveras County.
