Red, white and blue do

Trevor Quisol shows off the patriotic hair style his mom, Vicki Sanchez, gave him to celebrate the Fourth of July. The 15-year-old Avery resident will be a sophomore this fall at Bret Harte High School. Sanchez, also of Avery, uses her son's scalp for many hair experiments as she works her way through the Sonora Regional Occupational Program cosmetology courses. She will graduate in October. She takes pictures of the styles she creates and uses them to show people the kinds of do's she does. She said she plans to send pictures of this one to the hair-color manufacturer to show the company how she used its products.
