8:59 a.m., Soulsbyville Two boats stored at Sonora Marine on the 20400 block of Hazel Avenue were broken into.

11:20 a.m., Moccasin A man said when he opened a gate at Mariposa Quarry on 4900 Highway 49, two men in a white pickup raced out. The man then found a trailer broken into.

11:49 a.m., Columbia A Columbia State Historic Park employee said about nine people were involved in a fight on Main Street and no park rangers were on duty to deal with it.

1:19 p.m., Sonora Two inmates were fighting in the Tuolumne County Jail on Yaney Street. Neither inmate required hospitalization.

6:46 p.m., Columbia A man on the 22400 block of Airport Road said his neighbor was yelling and screaming inside a mobile home park where they live.

8:49 p.m., Groveland A caller said she received information that several people were using her hot tub at her house on the 13100 block of Jackson Mill Drive. A Pine Mountain Lake security officer went to the house and asked the people there to leave, then gave their names to a sheriff's deputy.

9:15 p.m., Columbia A man said another man came to his house on the 10900 block of Green Street and punched him in the nose, then ripped the phone out of the wall.

10:51 p.m., Jamestown A woman said a man and a woman in a gray pickup full of household garbage in the bed were parked in a parking lot on Reservoir Road, and looked suspicious.


8:31 a.m., Sonora area A woman on the 19500 block of Village Drive reported that a glass door appeared to have been damaged by a bullet.

11:11 a.m., Pinecrest A caller on Pinecrest Lake Road near Dodge Ridge Road said two boys were shooting plastic pellets at passing cars. A similar incident had occurred the day before as well, the caller said.

3:39 p.m., Sonora area A caller said a woman in a restaurant on the 13700 block of Mono Way was "flipping out" and had not been taking her medications. However, an employee at the restaurant told a police dispatcher there was no disturbance.

5:27 p.m., Pinecrest A caller on Dodge Ridge Road said a camper had just cut down a 30-foot tree for firewood.

9:58 p.m., Pinecrest A man on the 100 block of Dodge Ridge Road said four people were breaking into campsites. They were interrupted, he said, and took off running.

10:21 p.m., Jamestown A clerk at the Whistle Stop on the 18300 block of Highway 108 said a man took two 30-packs of Budweiser without paying and ran out the door. He left in a vehicle heading down Rawhide Road.

10:24 p.m., Jamestown A 42-year-old man was arrested on Ninth Street on suspicion of public intoxication. He was contacted by a deputy on routine patrol who noticed the man was bleeding from a cut on his head.


12:36 a.m., Columbia A man on the 10900 block of Green Street reported his friend had overdosed. Medics responded and transported the friend to Tuolumne General Hospital.

12:58 a.m., Sonora area A man said eight children in a residence on the 24100 block of Awahanee Road were unsupervised and their mother had not been home in three days. The children contacted the man because the were concerned about being home alone and were running out of food.

1:25 p.m., Long Barn A caller said two men and a woman were riding their all-terrain-vehicles in and out of the Lyons Reservoir area, as well as camping too close to the water, fishing without tags and possessing guns.

3:21 p.m., Pinecrest An aluminum boat was reported stolen at Pinecrest Lake. The boat was last seen a week ago.

3:46 p.m. Groveland A caller said her mother-in-law's wallet, with $1,600 inside, had been stolen. The woman had placed the wallet in her waistband and went into the restroom of a business on Highway 120 in Groveland. When she later discovered it missing, she called the business, but no wallets had been turned in.

4:43 p.m., Jamestown A man on the 10200 block of Bell Mooney Road reported the theft of one or two guns.

6:46 p.m., Lake Don Pedro Two boys, ages 19 and 20, were cited for being in possession of alcohol at Don Pedro Reservoir. Their beers were poured out.

10:42 p.m., Sonora area A woman in a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way said an unknown man used an expired credit car in a woman's name to pay for gas. The man left without picking up the credit card.

11:02 p.m. Soulsbyville A woman on Upper Starr Kind Drive said a man in a beat-up blue Volvo has been circling the area. The car was loaded with blankets and pillows and she though he might be planning to sleep in a home under construction.

11:40 p.m. Beardsley A man at Beardsley Reservoir said people were setting off M80s or M120s from their campsite, located just across from the dam.


2:42 a.m. Groveland A park ranger on the 13500 block of Cherry Lake Road reported an unknown man had entered her residence through a window while she and a roommate were inside. The man, 20, later told authorities he had gotten lost while fishing a day earlier and had only entered the residence to get warm.

6:34 a.m., Sonora A deputy reported that a fight occurred between two male inmates in the drunk tank at the Tuolumne County Jail.

Felony bookings


9:51 p.m., Jamestown Daniel William Casey, 49, 18100 block of Seco Street, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of drug possession and drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

According to a sheriff's department report, Casey called 911 several times and hung up each time. When deputies arrived to check on the man, he let them into his house. Inside on a coffee table, deputies reported finding a small amount of methamphetamine and a pipe.

Casey remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

12:45 a.m., public disturbance A caller on McCormick Drive said some people in their early 20s were smoking marijuana and being noisy.

11:01 a.m., fraudulent activities A caller said checks that had beloned to someone now dead were being cashed fraudulently.

1:27 p.m., traffic accident No one was injured in an accident on South Shepherd Street.

2:16 p.m., theft A teenage shoplifter was cited and released to probation officials after an arrest at Mervyn's.

2:55 p.m., theft A vehicle parked on the 400 block of South Washington Street was broken into.

8:17 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said the driver of a small red car drove into Masonic Cemetery on Golden Lane, came back out and drove away, but left the gates open.

8:22 p.m., public disturbance A caller said a group of about 15 teens were skateboarding, smoking and fighting in front of Wal-Mart.

11:18 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller found a large knife on the 900 block of Shaws Flat Road.

11:48 p.m., warrant arrest An 18-year-old woman was booked on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court after an arrest at Bonanza Street and Forest Road. The officer who arrested the woman had been looking into a call about a man and a woman walking up and down Forest Road looking into cars.


1:04 p.m., theft A front license plate was reported stolen on the 100 block of Tidwall Street.

1:54 p.m., suspicious circumstance A caller on the 900 block of South Washington Street said her mentally ill daughter had been swindled out of medication money.

5:22 p.m., fraudulent activities Five fraudulent Master Card travelers' checks were reported at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

5:39 p.m., theft A woman said $80 had been taken out of her car on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

7:46 p.m., assault An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the Signature Stadium 10 movie theater on Sanguinetti Road.

8:32 p.m., fraudulent activities A man at an undisclosed address reported someone had been charging items to his bank account.


3:59 p.m., public intoxication A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after a woman reported he was passed out in a chair on the 100 block of Stockton Street.

4:20 p.m., traffic violation A caller said a man driving a white Chevy Malibu cut him off and was weaving back and forth along Sanguinetti Road.

7:03 p.m., suspicious circumstance A woman on the 300 block of Fairview Lane said someone had been in her apartment either June 11 or 17. She did not know if anything was missing.

10:20 p.m., vandalism A woman on the 400 block of Greenley Road said several older kids were damaging equipment at Heaven for Kids Children's Park.

10:36 p.m., public intoxication A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

11:54 p.m., suspicious circumstance A caller said people were riding on the front hood and roof of a Volkswagen Beetle on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

5:47 p.m., Wallace Deputies responded to a 911 hangup on the 7500 block of Paso Drive and found a fist-fight in progress.

6:06 p.m., San Andreas A woman on the 300 block of Pope Street said compact discs and a coat were taken from her car.

8:07 p.m., Mokelumne Hill A man said people were trying to "run him over" with the van he was trying to repossess.


12:16 p.m. , Angels Camp A caller at marina at New Melones Reservoir said his truck was broken into and stereo equipment was stolen.

3:04 p.m., West Point A caller on the 400 block of Rabbits Foot Road reported the theft of no-trespassing signs and an American flag.

6:20 p.m., Angels Camp A sign was reported stolen from the New Melones Campground.


11:37 p.m., Angels Camp A caller at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds reported people were spinning doughnuts in their cars.

11:57 p.m., Copper Cove A caller on the 4800 block of Copper Cove Drive reported someone threw a rock through his window.


12:24 a.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 8100 block of Baldwin Street said there might have been a mountain lion outside. A deputy was unable to locate the animal.

1:21 a.m., Copperopolis A caller on the 1000 block of Oxyoke Lane reported a possible prowler in the area.
