Two grass fires near J59 and Green Springs Road burned about 10 acres yesterday morning. The fires started about 9:20 a.m., and damage from the flames is estimated at $1,200. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Tuolumne County Fire Department, two crews from Baseline Conservation Camp, an air tanker, air attack and helicopter from Columbia Air Base responded to the blaze.
