6:41 p.m., La Grange area A man on the 9000 block of Jalisco Way said a recently fired employee was arguing with the caller and refused to leave a job site.

8:12 a.m., Columbia A woman at the Tuolumne County Agricultural Office on the 22300 block of South Airport Road said the back door was damaged, but it didn't appear anyone broke in.

8:45 a.m., Sonora area A man found seven keys on Lime Kiln Road near Campo Seco Road and turned them over to the sheriff's department.

9:12 a.m., Wards Ferry area A caller said a man was loading a shotgun from a group of trees above homes on Wards Ferry Road.

10:58 a.m., East Sonora A man with gray hair wearing a Hawaiian shirt was waving his arms around, looking confused and lost in the parking lot at The Junction shopping center.

12:47 p.m., Big Oak Flat A caller saw a stop sign in the window of a house on the 17000 block of Highway 120 and thought it might be stolen.

1:27 p.m., Twain Harte A man with the Tuolumne County Road Department said an employee was having trouble with a homeowner on Nile River Drive who did not want tree work done near the property.

2:18 p.m., Tulloch Reservoir A caller said six teens were jumping off a bridge over Tulloch Reservoir at O'Byrnes Ferry Road and creating a safety hazard.

2:24 p.m., Tuolumne area A woman at Silver Spur Conference Center on Yosemite Road said rabbits and a cage were stolen.

4:18 p.m., Standard A woman said her son found a bicycle at Standard Park on Saturday afternoon. The bike was turned over to the sheriff's department.

4:33 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10600 block of Wigwam Road said a cell phone and a purse were stolen from her unlocked vehicle.

4:34 p.m., Sonora area A woman said three children were sitting by the side of Lime Kiln Road about 100 yards from Highway 108. One of the boys had wrecked his bike and had a bloody head.

6:22 p.m., Gibbs Ranch A man on the 20000 block of Gibbs Road said an obscene note was left in his mailbox.

10:29 p.m., Jamestown A woman said porch lights are flashing at a warehouse on Jamestown Road near Fifth Avenue.


12:17 a.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said a man was unconscious in an apartment parking lot.

12:54 a.m., Soulsbyville A man on the 20500 block of Hazel Avenue said his vehicle and house windows were vandalized.

1:57 a.m., Tuolumne A 31-year-old man on the 18700 block of Cedar Street was stabbed by unknown assailants. The man was taken by helicopter to a Modesto hospital for treatment. He refused to cooperate with deputies in identifying who hurt him.

6:50 p.m., Tuolumne Colma Roy Youpee, 47, 500 block of Cielo Vista Way, Sonora, booked on a Mariposa County warrant charging him with possessing a fraudulent check and violating probation after an arrest at the Tuolumne Market on Tuolumne Road. He was taken to Mariposa County Jail.

Greg David Brewer, 38, 8900 block of French Flat Road, Jamestown, booked at 2:49 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Gold and Barretta streets, Sonora.

9:46 a.m., traffic collision No one was injured in a collision on South Washington at Church streets.

9:50 a.m., traffic collision A motorcyclist complained of pain but did not want to be taken to the hospital after a crash on Snell Street near School Street.

11:11 a.m. animal complaints An ill feral cat found on Greenley Road was picked up by animal control.

11:21 a.m., traffic violations A caller said a 10-year-old boy was riding a motorized mini-bike up and down Upper Sunset Drive with no adult supervision.

1:22 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a suspicious-looking man was parked in a silver van on the corner of Shaws Flat and Robles roads.

2:20 p.m., traffic accidents No one was injured when a car hit a parked vehicle on South Washington Street.

5:41 p.m., disorderly conduct A caller said a woman was hitting a man while the two were on the lawn in front of Sonora Veterans Memorial Hall on North Washington Street.

6:28 p.m., warrant arrest A 24-year-old man was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Mono Way at Greenley Road.

8:11 p.m., theft A caller said mail from boxes on East Jackson Street was stolen and the empty envelopes were left behind.

9:26 p.m., warrant arrest A 19-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor theft warrant after a traffic stop on Pesce Way.

11:25 p.m., public intoxication A 33-year-old man knocking at the police station door was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.


1:49 a.m., public intoxication A 25-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest on the corner of South Stewart and Gold streets.

2:48 a.m., Columbia The cause of a fire that burned a spot of grass at 22282 Bennett Road is still undetermined. Owner Boe Narita extinguished the blaze with a garden hose before engines from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Tuolumne County Fire Department arrived. The fire did no damage.


5:20 p.m., La Grange area About $100 damage was caused to a 1992 Ford Tempo owned by Madelyn Gipson of the La Grange area when the car's insulation burned on Highway J59 near the Rosasco Ranch. The fire was caused by a wire harness that was too close to the catalytic convertor. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.

9:12 a.m., Arnold An Ebbetts Pass Sporting Goods employee said the business on the 900 block of Highway 4 was vandalized overnight.

10:09 a.m., San Andreas A Calaveras High School employee said a student was out of control.

1:25 p.m., San Andreas A caller on the 500 block of Toyon Drive said someone used his identification without permission.

5:52 p.m., West Point A verbal dispute escalated into threats after an incident involving motorcycle riding on Highway 26.

7:43 p.m., Burson A caller said there was a dead calf in a ditch near the 100 block of Cottontail Road.

8:15 p.m., Jenny Lind A caller on the 9000 block of Jenny Lind Road said a neighbor took down a fence against the caller's wishes.

11:32 p.m., Valley Springs A woman on the 7500 block of Baldwin Street said a rock was thrown at her front door.



8 p.m., Valley Springs area An escaped debris burn scorched 1 1/2 acres of grass on land owned by Lolita Madriaga on the 3700 block of White Road, causing $300 damage. Responding were CDF, Foothills Fire Protection District and Mokelumne Hill Fire Protection District.

No felony bookings or arrests were reported yesterday.
