6:28 a.m., Sonora A 53-year-old Galt man was booked on a warrant charging him with lewd acts on a child, possession of a short-barreled shotgun and possession of a firearm. He was brought to the county jail from the Shasta County Jail and remained in custody this morning in lieu of $40,000 bail.

6:18 p.m., Quail Hollow Robert Santorelli Jr., 38, 20200 block of Sparrow Lane, Sonora, booked on suspicion of battery causing serious injury after an arrest at his home. He was released after posting $5,000 bail.


2:05 a.m., Cedar Ridge A 46-year-old man booked on suspicion of felony spousal battery after arrest at his home. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

8:51 a.m., miscellaneous complaint A woman said she saw a man put trash illegally into a business's trash bin on the 800 block of Mono Way.

1:18 p.m., assault A hospital emergency room employee said a man there was the victim of an assault.

7:36 p.m., harassment A man said he was harassed by three people who followed him home from work.

8:25 p.m., public intoxication A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on South Green and Linoberg streets.

3:15 p.m., Twain Harte area A vehicle fire was reported on Highway 108 at Tuolumne Road North. The 1987 Subaru GL belongs to Jill Agart of Mi-Wuk Village. The fire was caused by an overheated engine. Damage was estimated at $2,000. Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection responded.

8:29 a.m., Burson A vehicle parked on the 5800 block of Highway 12 was vandalized.

9:32 a.m., Angels Camp A wallet was stolen from an unlocked car parked at Glory Hole Marina at New Melones Reservoir.

12:26 p.m., San Andreas A woman was said to be yelling as she walked away from the Government Center on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

7:07 p.m., Jenny Lind A man on the 11000 block of Milton Road said his landlord booby-trapped the entrance to the man's house by putting cactuses all around so the man would have to step on them.

7:18 p.m., Copperopolis A weed mower was stolen from a garage on the 5200 block of Buckboard Road.
