7:45 a.m., Wards Ferry Road area A PG&E employee said a property owner on the 17000 block of Murphy Road was not allowing trees to be trimmed near the road.

8:39 a.m., Jamestown Two trucks parked on Jamestown Road near Highway 49 were burglarized a CB radio and CD player were taken.

9:44 a.m., Cold Springs Tolls and various construction items were stolen from a house under construction on the 29400 block of Shasta Drive.

12:07 p.m., Columbia A man on the 11700 block of Columbia College Drive said a CD player, two speakers and school books were stolen.

12:52 p.m., Jamestown The owner of a vehicle parked on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue said the windshield and back window were broken out.

1:03 p.m., Columbia A man on the 21700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said he is being threatened by another man.

1:55 p.m., Twain Harte A woman said a man was seen on the roof of The Nest and Nursery on the 23000 block of Fuller Road about midnight.

2:58 p.m., Twain Harte Tools and equipment were stolen from a house under construction on the 23900 block of Mt. Elizabeth Road.

3:05 p.m., Jamestown A woman who parked her car at an automotive repair shop on the 18000 block of Main Street since November said a car stereo valued at $200 was stolen.

3:32 p.m., Jamestown A caller said two people just dumped a couch by the side of Rawhide Road.

5:10 p.m., Jamestown A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness on Highway 108 near Rawhide Road.

6:42 p.m., Soulsbyville A man said two black-powder guns were stolen from a house on the 19600 block of Soulsbyville Road.

7:26 p.m., Columbia area A woman brought her foster daughter into Sonora Community Hospital after the girl's boyfriend headbutted her.

7:33 p.m., East Sonora A woman said while she and a friend were at a fast-food restaurant on the 13700 block of Mono Way another woman and her boyfriend swore at them and the boy spit food into their faces.


12:06 a.m., Jamestown A woman said five teenage boys stole a clown from Morelia Restaurant and took off toward Humbug Street.

5:45 p.m., Don Pedro area Duane Phillip Hernandez, 42, 16600 block of South Creekside Drive, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, giving drugs to an incarcerated person and criminal conspiracy after arrest on Poker Flat Road. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

12:21 p.m., fraudulent activity A woman said another woman used a credit card and then reported it stolen to get out of a payment.

1:32 p.m., theft A woman took a 20-pack of beer from Gold Country Gas on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

1:37 p.m., property damage A woman said plants were destroyed on the 90 block of East Dodge Lane.

1:50 p.m., domestic violence A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of battery after a fight with a girlfriend in a waiting room at Tuolumne General Hospital.

2:05 p.m., disorderly conduct An employee at a business on the 700 block of Mono Way said he had an out-of-control customer.

2:51 p.m., traffic accident A minor injury crash was reported at the intersection of Mono Way and Hospital Road.

4:17 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury crash was reported on the first block of Forest Road.

4:32 p.m., theft A woman said someone got into her house and took items owned by a third party. She said the theft occurred between April 14 and April 29.

5:29 p.m., theft A 16-year-old girl was cited and released to a parent on suspicion of shoplifting. A report said the girl tried to steal underwear, cosmetics, shampoo and conditioner from Wal-Mart on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

8:34 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury crash was reported on the 300 block of Stockton Road.

10:05 p.m., theft A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting. A report said the man tried to steal a camera valued at $9. As he left the store, the security alarm went off. The man was detained until officers arrived.

10:14 p.m., vandalism A caller on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road said people next to a white pickup had baseball bats and were jumping on a vehicle.

11:45 p.m., public intoxication A 911 caller on the 300 block of Hospital Road said two men were fighting. A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

10:44 a.m., San Andreas A caller said a Calaveras High School employee brought a knife to school.

10:51 a.m., San Andreas A caller said a teenage boy came to San Andreas Elementary transition school intoxicated.

12:31 p.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 3000 block of Gillam Road said hunters were shooting guns from their vehicle.

3:39 p.m., San Andreas A jail deputy found what appeared to be drugs on a female inmate and requested the find be tested.

5:12 p.m., Valley Springs A vehicle was reported vandalized to a deputy who was at the sheriff's substation.

5:54 p.m., San Andreas A caller said someone pulled a knife on the caller while the two were at a nail salon on the 100 block of East St. Charles Street.

6:16 p.m., Vallecito A caller said shoes, DVDs and a DVD player were stolen from a house on the 3900 block of Juniper Drive.

9:40 p.m., Wallace A caller said a neighbor working on a house near Petrose Street was making a lot of noise, keeping the caller awake.


3:02 a.m., Valley Springs A caller said two women put a board over spikes in the road at Acorn West Campground in order to drive in without damaging their car.

Felony bookings


3:10 p.m., San Andreas Jedediah Argyle Main, 24, Highway 395, Coleville, Mono County, booked on a warrant charging him with burglary after arrest in Mono County. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.

3:20 p.m., Valley Springs Vincent Jeffery Tiffany, 18, booked on suspicion of making criminal threats after arrest at a convenience store on Highway 12. He was held this morning in lieu of $15,000 bail.


Midnight, Angels Camp April Lee Paulsen, 30, booked on a warrant charging her with second-degree burglary after arrest on Highway 4 at Depot Road, Angels Camp. She was held without bail this morning.



7:37 p.m., Campo Seco A fire was reported on the 4200 block of Chile Camp Road. Dollar damage was estimated between $80,000 and $100,000 to a metal shop and furniture. The fire was caused by someone welding. Property owner is undetermined. Valley Springs Fire Protection District, San Andreas Fire Protection District and Foothill Fire Protection District responded.
