11:17 a.m., East Sonora A man said his credit card was fraudulently used to make catalog purchases from J.C. Penney in The Junction shopping center.

11:30 a.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said two women threatened to shoot her and her son.

12:08 p.m., Jamestown A man said while he was walking on Main Street, another man spit on him.

12:43 p.m., Columbia A woman on the 22000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said she heard her front screen door slam and someone ran off the porch. She went through her house and it appeared items were taken.

2:57 p.m., Sonora area A woman on the 21000 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road said prescription medication sent via the mail was stolen from her mailbox.

4:36 p.m., Willow Springs A woman on the 20800 block of Caylor Drive said jewelry, CDs and other items were taken from her house.

5:19 p.m., Soulsbyville A vehicle parked at an undisclosed address in Soulsbyville was vandalized.

5:46 p.m., Groveland A caller on the 18000 block of Main Street said a man driving a burgundy-colored car made threats in retaliation for an earlier incident.

5:49 p.m., Jamestown A woman said her landlord called her and said teens were behind a restaurant on Main Street smoking marijuana.

6 p.m., Columbia A woman on the 22000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said her back door was pried open and she found a tool on the ground that might have been used.


2:13 a.m., Columbia A woman on the 10900 block of Green Street said her roommate dumped vinegar and flour on her head.

12:07 p.m., Sonora A 40-year-old Sonora man booked on a Salinas County warrant charging him with felony spousal battery and child endangerment after an arrest at his home. He was cited and released.

2:28 p.m., Sonora A 24-year-old Jamestown woman booked on suspicion of cruelty to a child after an arrest at Child Welfare Services. She remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.


12:08 a.m., Columbia Joshua Clyde Perry, 20, no address listed, booked on suspicion of battery causing injuries after an arrest on the 22400 block of South Airport Road, Columbia. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Eddy Marshall Botelho, 57, 500 block of McGowan Street, Sonora, booked at 12:30 a.m. today after arrest on Stewart and William streets, Sonora.

11:32 a.m., theft A woman said her purse was stolen after she left it behind at a business on South Washington Street.

1:37 p.m., public intoxication A woman at a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street said two people refused to check out of a room.

3:27 p.m., fraudulent activity A woman said her credit card is being used without her permission at various places around town.

3:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances A man said he saw a group of people on Linoberg Street with a marijuana smoking device.

5:12 p.m., theft A man said someone took items out of his vehicle on Green Street.

7:24 p.m., possible drunken driver A man said he saw another man walk into a liquor store, buy some liquor and stumble outside. The caller said the man got into his vehicle and drove away south on Washington Street.

10:42 p.m., found property A man at a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street said someone has left a backpack at the store for more than five days.

3:02 p.m., San Andreas A caller said someone was assaulted in a restaurant parking lot on Highway 49.

3:35 p.m., Valley Springs A caller said there was going to be a fight at a school bus stop on the 100 block of Mangili Road when the bus arrived.

3:56 p.m., San Andreas A caller said there was a fight in the parking lot on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

5:35 p.m., Valley Springs A house on the 3200 block of Dunn Road was burglarized.

12:50 a.m., Angels Camp Rogelio Contreras Gutierrez, 20, 300 block of South Main Street, Angels Camp, booked on suspicion of felony battery after arrest at his home. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.

7:08 a.m., Avery James Robert Hall, 21, 4500 block of Moran Road, Avery, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at a convenience store on Main Street, Murphys. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $23,000 bail.
