Karla Yeager, owner of Orphan Annie's Emporium in Angels Camp, plants flowers in front of her shop. The spring weather and all the blooms will go well with the Calaveras Home, Garden and Recreation Show this weekend. More than 100 exhibitors and vendors will be at the show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds. Admission and parking are free. Parking for car show entries will begin at 7:30 a.m. for the "Run What Ya Brung" event. The first 25 cars to enter will receive dash plaques, and three trophies will be awarded. Aside from activities and craft sales, Master Gardeners and the Mountain Remote Control Airplane Group will be at the show.
