Calaveras County Board of Education members Monday will discuss a proposed 2 percent cost of living adjustments for clerical employees and management/confidential employees.

The pay boosts, totaling $11,264 for classified employees and $14,727 for management and confidential employees, have been included in this year's budget.

A public hearing on the budget is set for April 28.

The board also will hear a second reading of the new high school exit exam and adult education policies.

The Adult Education program, launched July 1, has 100 students working toward high school diplomas.

The board will also discuss issuing four temporary certificates for teachers awaiting credentials.

And board members will hear a report on "Step Into Technology," the spring 2003 technology classes, and be updated on an Arts Education Program grant application.
