9:26 a.m., Twain Harte area A Harley Davidson motorcycle engine valued at $6,000 was reported stolen from a house on the 17000 block of Jupiter Road by the owner. The theft occurred in the last week.

11:31 a.m., Standard A man said his daughter was allegedly threatened last week at Curtis Creek School.

12:24 p.m., Twain Harte A Black Oak School administrator asked for a deputy to help with a student who was reportedly out of control.

12:44 p.m., Soulsbyville A Kingsview Mental Health employee asked for a deputy to assist with a patient who was reportedly combative and irrational.

12:57 p.m., Jamestown A woman said a suspicious-looking vehicle was parked at a turnout on O'Byrnes Ferry Road near the bridge over Tulloch Reservoir.

1:40 p.m., Jamestown A caller on the 18200 block of Smoke Street said a 13-year-old boy was yelling and screaming, then threw a video game out the window.

1:43 p.m., Big Hill area A woman said she saw a man with shoulder-length sandy blond hair, wearing a black jacket, going through mailboxes on Big Hill Road near Quail Mine Road.

1:56 p.m., Quail Hollow A woman reported a hole in a house on the 20300 block of Luke Court that appeared to be caused by someone trying to break in.

3:37 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 18200 block of Smoke Street said her son was assaulted while riding his bicycle near buildings on Main Street and Highway 108 by a man who was seen running away toward Rawhide Road.

9:56 p.m., Tuolumne Three callers said there was "ridiculously loud music" coming from a black sports car parked on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.


1:16 a.m., Tuolumne A caller said people in a car parked on the 23200 block of Cherokee Drive might have been doing drugs.

Felony bookings


6:45 a.m., Sonora Jess Wade Baker, 21, 1000 block of West Capital Avenue, West Sacramento, booked on a warrant charging him with battery of a jail officer and demolishing prison facilities. He was brought to the jail from another county jail, and remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Rafael Julian Samo, 39, 1600 block of Ridgeland Avenue, Ceres, booked at 5:35 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Lower Sunset and Yaney streets, Sonora.

Lawrence Burr Seidel, 55, 18900 block of Evergreen Drive, Tuolumne, booked at 7:37 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Stewart and Jackson streets, Sonora.

William Ira Robinson, 46, 50 block of Tuolumne Road, Tuolumne, booked at 10:51 p.m. yesterday after arrest on Rawhide Road.

Kristina Rae Lowry, 25, 15300 block of Camino Del Parque, Sonora, booked at 2 a.m. today after arrest on Washington and Stockton streets, Sonora.

9:25 a.m., burglary A woman said someone stole flowers and pots, and that a shed was broken into at Jan's Cruise and Travel on the 10 block of Snell Street.

10:20 a.m., weapons violation A woman on the 90 block of South Stewart Street said she saw a heavyset man with some type of gun. Officers did not find anyone. Police said the case was not related to the Monday sighting of a man with a rifle near Sonora High School.

10:24 a.m., vehicle theft A man said a Pac Bell truck was stolen over the weekend from the 30 block of William Street.

11:10 a.m., theft A woman said a 2003 registration tab was removed from her vehicle.

5:06 p.m., fight Officers responded to an argument on the 100 block of Old Wards Ferry Road.

8:23 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said that while waiting at a red light on Restano Way, two people in black coats hit the caller's vehicle with either a baseball bat or long stick.

9:05 p.m., public intoxication A 38-year-old man was arrested on North Reservoir Road on suspicion of public intoxication.

11:06 p.m., harassment A woman on the 300 block of North Washington Street said another woman was "harassing everyone."

12:40 p.m., West Point A caller said a man driving a silver truck appeared to be assaulting a woman in the truck. The caller saw the truck on Highway 26 near Main Street.

6 p.m., Valley Springs A New Hogan Reservoir Army Corps of Engineer ranger found a milk jug filled with what was originally thought to be urine. It was not determined what the substance really was, however.

6:05 p.m., Murphys A caller said someone was shooting at geese near French Gulch Road and Murphys Grade Road.

7:26 p.m., Valley Springs A caller said a driver was speeding up and down Gillam Road.

7:59 p.m., Arnold A Round Table pizza employee said a teen-ager was causing a disturbance and refused to leave.

10:58 p.m., Copperopolis A caller said about 20 cows were loose on Copper Cove Drive.

11:51 p.m., San Andreas A Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital employee said a patient who left the hospital earlier, returned and was causing a disturbance.


2:07 a.m., Vallecito A caller on the 2000 block of Highway 4 said he bought a car but did not get a pink slip.

8:15 a.m., Avery A caller on the 4900 block of Morris Road was angry about dirt being piled on the property from a new construction site.

10:09 a.m., Campo Seco A caller said tools, a cell phone and vehicle registration were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 5100 block of Buckboard Lane.

10:33 a.m., Rail Road Flat A house on the 300 block of South Railroad Flat Road was burglarized.

11:54 a.m., Valley Springs area A man calling from an unknown boat ramp on an unknown lake said someone was shooting at him. Deputies were unable to locate the caller.

2:28 p.m., Mountain Ranch A caller on the 8000 block of Avenue A said he was being chased by someone with a baseball bat.

4 p.m., Valley Springs A mail carrier found a stolen bass-shaped mailbox on the 5800 block of Thornicroft.

6:09 p.m., San Andreas A caller said he saw kids smoking in a tin shed on Miller Court. The kids ran away when they saw a deputy.

6:51 p.m., Angels Camp A man on the 3000 block of Highway 49 said three weeks ago an electrician offered him methamphetamine.

2:17 a.m., West Point Steven Scott Cowart, 39, undisclosed address Rail Road Flat, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale, possessing a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license, evading a peace officer and bringing a controlled substance into jail. He was arrested on the 100 block of Barney Way, West Point, and remained in custody this morning in lieu of $83,000 bail.
