8:19 a.m., Twain Harte area A man on the 22100 block of Thunderbolt Drive said trees were cut down on his property without his permission.

8:30 a.m., Jamestown The manager of an apartment building on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said tenants were complaining of a man sleeping on a hill behind the apartments. Tenants said the man was making loud noises during the night.

8:32 a.m., Tuolumne A woman on the 18600 block of Carter Street said a credit card was taken from a vehicle glove box.

9:48 a.m., Jamestown area A woman at Carter Roofing on the 16500 block of Stent Cutoff Road said the business was burglarized over the weekend by someone who made a hole in a wall.

10:56 a.m., Columbia A woman said she found a riding mower tipped over near a PG&E ditch near Skyview Drive when she was out walking her dog.

11:10 a.m., Phoenix Lake area A man said golf clubs valued at $650 were stolen about a week ago while he was playing golf at Phoenix Lake Golf Course.

2:40 p.m., Cedar Ridge A man reported seeing a vehicle off the side of Big Hill Road near Kuien Mill Road under some bushes. The call was referred to California Highway Patrol.

3:25 p.m., Tuolumne A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after the owner of Tuolumne Market on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road said he had received numerous complaints from customers about the man loitering.

3:37 p.m., Tuolumne A Black Oak Casino security officers saw a customer via a surveillance camera taking coins from other customers.

5:24 p.m., Sugar Pine A woman on the 20100 block of Manzanita Street said someone egged her house and put something green on her windows overnight.

6:07 p.m., Phoenix Lake area A house on the 21700 block of Paseo de los Portales was burglarized and $4,300 worth of items were stolen, including a stuffed bobcat and fox and two handguns.

9:07 p.m., Yosemite Junction A clerk at Yosemite Junction Gas Mart said two outdoor lights were out, one of them unscrewed. She asked for extra patrol.

Felony bookings


1:26 a.m., Jamestown area Claudia Lynn Martin, 32, 800 block of Canelli Circle, Modesto, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor drunken driving after arrest on Highway 108 near Harvard Mine Road.

California Highway Patrol Officer Tom Wills said an officer spotted Martin's vehicle traveling west on Highway 120, going about 80 mph and stopped her for speeding. While talking with her the officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol from her breath and asked her to perform a sobriety test, Wills said. Martin failed the test, the CHP said. She agreed to a breath test, which showed a .12 percent blood-alcohol level, Wills said.

During a search of her purse, the officer found a small plastic bag containing a white powdery substance which later proved to be .2 grams of methamphetamine, Wills said. She remained in custody this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

12:06 a.m., fight An argument was reported inside a business on the 10 block of South Stewart Street. The caller was worried because there were young people around.

11:31 a.m., theft An unidentified person said someone stole items from a vehicle parked behind a bar on the 90 block of South Washington Street.

12:48 p.m., hazard Two stalled vehicles were blocking traffic on westbound Mono Way at Barretta Street.

1:25 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported on Mono Way.

6:31 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a truck driver was inside a business on Stockton Road, drinking. The caller was worried the driver might operate his truck while under the influence.

10:05 p.m., suspicious circumstances An officer checked on an open gate on Shaws Flat Road.

10:26 p.m., public peace A Stockton Road resident said engines from large trucks off Stockton Road were loud and shaking her house.

11:24 p.m., theft A caller said a purse was stolen from a business on the 100 block of South Washington Street.

8:47 a.m., suspicious circumstances Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department said a man was walking by a pawn shop on Stockton Road and appeared to be throwing rocks in the road.

9:40 a.m., vandalism Sonora High School's school resource officer said a brass "S" was damaged in the courtyard at the school.

10:16 a.m., traffic accident A non-injury crash was reported on the 80 block of Mono Way.

11:40 a.m., hazard A caller reported a log in the road on the 400 block of Lyons-Bald Mountain Road.

2:42 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury crash was reported on West Bradford Avenue.

5:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances An officer checked on four people on Stockton Road.

6:08 p.m., animal complaint A man on the 200 block of Mono Way said his son saw a neighbor's dog kill several of his chickens.

6:23 p.m., traffic accident A woman said her daughter suffered neck pain after a crash on Sanguinetti Road.

8:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances A man said a balding man wearing a green jacket was near a motel on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

8:59 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury roll-over crash was reported on Mono Way.

9:58 p.m., suspicious circumstances A woman on the 200 block of Columbia Way said four vehicles and people with flashlights were in the area.

3:45 a.m., Sonora A vehicle fire was reported at Kevin's Downtown Automotive on the 400 block of South Washington Street. The owner's name was unavailable. Damage was estimated at $1,200 to a 1955 GMC freight truck. Sonora Fire Department responded.

9:26 a.m., Paloma A gate on Penn Mine Road was reported vandalized.

10:35 a.m., Wallace area A shed on the 9900 block of South Camanche Parkway was burglarized.

12:56 p.m., Murphys A caller said a house on the 2100 block of Rawhide Drive was ransacked and a cellular telephone stolen while the caller was away.

3:35 p.m., West Point A caller said someone threatened employees at the West Point Medical Clinic on the 20600 block of Highway 26.

8:23 a.m., San Andreas Jeanine Marie Brown, 32, 400 block of East St. Charles Street, San Andreas, booked on a warrant charging her with possessing a controlled substance and controlled-substance paraphernalia. She turned herself in and was booked and released on her own recognizance.

10:40 a.m., San Andreas A 40-year-old West Point man booked on a warrant charging him with felony spousal battery, possessing a controlled substance and possessing marijuana after an arrest while he appeared in court. He remained in custody this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.
