The second annual Chief Fuller Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on the south side of Highway 108 in Mi-Wuk Village.Admission is free.

Homemade crafts, children's activities and live music will be featured, including performances by the Midnight Movers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Crash Landing from 3 to 6 p.m. Performing acoustically throughout the day will be Michael, Koya and Alex Kash.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Red Cross also will have an information booth and the Mi-Wuk-Sugar Pine Fire Department Auxiliary will be selling tickets to its spaghetti dinner taking place from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the fire station at 24247 Highway 108 in Sugar Pine.

More than 40 arts, crafts and food vendors will be offering carved wooden bears, earrings made of bullets and casings, American Indian art, soaps, wooden toys, baked goods, kettle korn, smoothies and more.

Krinklies the Clown also will be present for face painting.

Last year's inaugural event went on despite the massive Rim Fire burning at the time.

"We actually had a really good turnout because we didn't have the smoke and the vendors were really happy," said Debbie Laurance, one of the event organizers. "We hope its even better this year because there is no fire."

Proceeds will go to scholarships for area students.
