Sonora High School will present its winter play,"The Boy Friend," today through Saturday in the school auditorium.
Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. each day, with a matinee added at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $7 general admission, $5 for students and senior citizens, available at the school office and at the door.
The musical comedy is set in the 1920s in the French Riviera. The action takes place in a single day at Madame Dubonnet's Finishing School, the beach and the terrace of the Café Pataplon.
Songs include "Perfect Young Ladies," "The Boy Friend" and "Won't You Charleston With Me?"
Cast members, in order of appearance, are Ali Pelfrey as Hortense, Nakeita Winslow as Maisie, Kerrye Gregory as Dulcie, Felecia Frizado as Fay, Hannah Taylor as Nancy, Sydney Sheffield as Polly Browne, Ben Wright as Marcel, Brian Ogle as Pierre, Matt Howard as Alphonse, Kennedy Garrett as Madame Dubonnet, Casey Dearden as Bobby Van Husen, Samuel Savage as Percival Browne, Tony Cota as Tony, Daniel Pennisi as Lord Brockhurst, Abigail Bolter as Lady Brockhurst, Samantha McKinney as a gendarme and waiter, and Kenzie Dearden, Kalyn Parkhurst, Mia Armas and Morgan Madrid as guests.
Sherry Juhl directs, with musical direction by Yvonne Denton and choreography by Amber Deroecher.
Costumers are Janette Wilson, Helen Sylvester and Vicky Lee.
Bekah Magwood is the stage manager. Sound is by Jakob Koozer and Doria Curry, with lights by Cameron Garrett.
The running crew includes Morgan Madrid, Cassidy Wise, Merissa Collette and Jasmine McCraney.
