Crafty Chicks Road Show set Saturday
Handmade, vintage, repurposed and upcycled items will be available this weekend during the Crafty Chicks Road Show at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp.
The sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in and around the Mark Twain Hall.
The event will feature more than 60 artisans, food trucks and booths, a raffle prize fundraiser for the Calaveras Humane Society and a free photo booth.
Admission costs $1 per person.

Chamber to host Candidate’s Forum
The Twain Harte Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Candidate’s Forum for the four District 3 contenders, which includes Tuolumne Township, Twain Harte and the uphill communities along the Highway 108 corridor.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. April 30 at the Twain Harte Community Center, 18775 Manzanita Drive in Twain Harte.
The candidates who are running to replace Evan Royce, who is not seeking re-election, are Merv Cancio, Anaiah Kirk, Aaron Rasmussen and Laurie Sylwester.

Annual Farm Tour slated for June 9
The Farms of Tuolumne County’s 10th annual Farm and Ranch Tour will be held June 9 at locations throughout Tuolumne County.
The self-guided tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include Rocking R Bar B Miniature Herefords, Blue Oak Farm, Summerland Farm and Indigeny Reserve.
Local food, beer and cider tasting will be offered, along with horse riding demonstrations, gardening and bonsai tips, shopping opportunities and animal farms, including miniature Herefords and therapy horses.
Tickets for adults cost $10 in advance or $12 the day of the event. Anyone 17 and younger can take the tour for fere.
