Fine food, wine,
cider tasting planned
Sampling of fine food, wines and ciders will be offered Oct. 24 when Black Oak Casino Resort and the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce present A Sip of Wine, A Taste of Food and a Touch of Business.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seven Sisters at Black Oak Casino Resort in Tuolumne.
A silent auction also will be held.
Tickets cost $30 per person and include $10 off free play. Tickets are available at the chamber office, 222 S. Shepherd St., Sonora, at the Gift Basket at Black Oak Casino Resort, or by contacting the chamber at (209) 532-4212, email@example.com or www.tcchamber.com.
Farms of Tuolumne County offers grant opportunity
In keeping with its mission to promote local agriculture through education, Farms of Tuolumne County (FOTC) has grant money available for projects for 2017-18.
