Wildcats have easy time with Kimball |
Sonora upped its Valley Oak League record to 2-0 with a 3-0 home volleyball victory over Kimball on Tuesday night, 25-13, 25-13, 25-18. “Overall our girls played a pretty solid match,” said Sonora head coach Kim Evans. “There were times where we lost a little of our focus and could have done some things differently. We are obviously very happy being 2-0 in the VOL and we have learned a lot being 14-6 overall at this point in the season by learning from our tough losses. “I think if we can stay focused and always be ready for every match that we can have a very successful season. I’m proud of how hard these girls have worked up to this point, and I look forward to their continued determination day in and day out to continue our winning tradition.” Sonora statistics: Serving — Elise Amend four aces, Gracia Gagnon three aces, Anneka Pisula 10-10.
