Sophomore guard Derek Olich, freshman forward Talin Zimmer and sophomore forward Kevin Massey from the Columbia College basketball team earned spots on the the all-Central Valley Conference teams.
Olich, who led Columbia (20-13, 9-5) to a third-place finish with his team-leading averages of 14.6 points, 3.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game, was named first-team all-CVC and finished fourth in the Most Valuable Player race with 55 votes.
Zimmer (13.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg) was given honorable mention and earned a spot on the all-freshman team.
Massey (5.7 rpg, 1.1 steals per game) was tabbed for the all-defensive team.
Fresno City's Tyrone Jackson won the MVP honor. Joining Olich on the first team were Hardy Asprilla (College of the Sequoias), Jason Walberg (Fresno), Carl Lee (Fresno), Jay Rasheed (Merced), E.J. Savoy (Modesto), Ryan Cleaves (Sequoias), Myron Jenkins (Reedley), Otis Black (West Hills) and Adam Wall (Fresno).
Vance Walberg, who led the Fresno Rams to a second straight league title was named Coach of the Year.
