Jonathan Nelson, Abby Castleberry and William Watts swam to a total of 12 personal bests during a Tuolumne County Aquatics-Sonora Sport and Fitness Center mini-meet.
Nelson, 9, had five bests with a combined improvement of 52 seconds including 32 in the 100-yard freestyle.
Castleberry, 8, swam 50-yard events for the first time and improved by 50 seconds in four events. She took off 21 seconds in the 50 breaststroke and 14 in both the 50 free ad 50 backstroke.
Watts had a 38-second improvement in the 100 free.
Also, 10-year-old twins Ashley and Sydney Mager each swam five personal bests and two B times. Ashley had 10-second drops in the 50 and 100 free.
Amanda Nieh, 11, and Robin Wells, 13, also have five bests apiece, while Zack Nye, Gabe Runte, Cheyenne Wedel swam four each, and Amber Edwards, Makena Forster, Allie Freer, Grace Gerber Victory Nelson, Kryrstyn Patton, Kayley Rasmussen, Abby Scroggs and Kim Turner had three each. Gerber posted a B time in the 100 free.
All told, 56 swimmers posted 112 bests. Among them were Melissa Reyes, who improved by 25 seconds in the 100 free; Liz Nieh, by 19 seconds in the 100 free; Kyrsta Morehouse, by 19 8n the 25 breast; and Kim Turner, by 12 in the 50 breast.
Joining the "10-second club" with their improvements were Freer and Teri Wells in the 100 free, Amanda Nieh in the 100 breast, Ian Fremb in the 50 back and Nye in the 50 butterfly.
Dorsha and Leah Gould, Adam Jorge, Dylan Miguel and Kahale Warring swam in their first meet.
