Sonora continued its dominance in the Tuolumne County Elementary School Track Meet, which was held Wednesday at Sonora High School's Dunlavy Field.
The Bobcats rolled to their 18th straight title with 703 points to 283 for second-place Tenaya, which captured the ADA Trophy based on points vs. enrollment. Sonora's Lexie Kopf was named the meet's Outstanding Athlete in the girls' sixth-grade division.
Other Outstanding Athletes were Jessica Laird of Twain Harte and Jake Henry of Tenaya for fifth-grade girls and boys, respectively; Anthony Tarango of Columbia for sixth-grade boys; Heather Perez of Curtis Creek and Spencer Castro of Tenaya for seventh-grade girls and boys; and Stephanie Graham and Sarah Alderson of Tenaya for eighth-grade girls and Markus Walsh of Jamestown for eighth-grade boys.
