Porovich, Isam just short of 300

    A 10-pin leave and a 4-6-7 split was all that stood between games of 300 for Robert Porovich and Dan Isam (both of Monday Nevada). Both men also bowled 78 pins over average with their 299 and 297, respectively. Isam also had the highest series for the men with a 756.
    For the women, it was Jeannie Philbin (Morning Rollers) with a 235 high game while Mary Feola (this week it was in High Rollers) had the high series of 589.
    Other 700 series rolled this report came from Monday Nevada – Brian Basacker 741 and Porovich 719 and Early Birds – Bruce Peterson 715. Over in Jokers Wild, Derek Gregory and Warren Walker were both high in the league with 279 games and 738 series while league mate Steve Dedmon rolled a 719.
    League Champs – Gold Country Youth/Adult it was the Yellow Submarine (Mariah Persson, Tricia Welch and Shyly Valentine); Young at Heart it was Good Time Rollers (Maryanne and John Campbell, Jim Ward and Dave Rossi) and in Senior Merrymakers it was the Longshots (Ruth Benson, Ada Hill, Jim Sehr and Mike Wright).
