Two from Mother Lode Christian School and one from Tioga High School have been named to the all-Mountain Valley League softball team.
Senior pitcher Lexie Moss and sophomore catcher Larisa Moss represent Mother Lode, while junior shortstop Shelbi Bodine carries the Tioga banner.
The elder Moss is an all-league selection for the fourth straight year. She batted .450 and pitched Mother Lode into the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV playoffs for the second time in her career.
Batterymate and sister Larisa, who also did some pitching, hit .613 with two home runs, a triple and three doubles as the Cougars finished second in the MVL by winning their last six regular-season games.
Bodine batted .515 with 17 runs batted in and 12 stolen bases for Tioga.
Junior catcher-centerfielder Star Costa and sophomore first baseman Melissa Clapper of Mother Lode, and junior first baseman Jennifer Flores and senior third baseman Nicole Edwards of Tioga were given honorable mention.
Senior Shandra Hopkins, who pitched Turlock Christian to the league championship, was named Most Valuable Player.
