SELMA — District 15 champion High Sierra of Twain Harte, Soulsbyville and Belleview was knocked out of Little League baseball's Section 6 Tournament for Minors (ages 9 and 10) in two games, falling 12-0 to the Stockton Sundowners (District 8) and 5-1 to Visalia (District 34) on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Jared English and Eddy Cruz singled for High Sierra's only hits against Stockton. They also singled against Visalia.

In the field, second baseman Hazelton threw a runner out at the plate and made an over-the-shoulder catch on a popup, and shortstop Scooter Guidry made a diving catch on a line drive.

In the Major (11-12) tournament at Eproson Field in Twain Harte, the title went to River Park of Fresno (District 10) beat Hanford (District 61) on Saturday and defeated Visalia (District 34) twice on Sunday to win the section title and advance to Divisional play in Roseville.
