Six-year-old Anthony Diemel of Soulsbyville leaps in the long jump event yesterday at the Tuolumne County Recreation Department's annual Youth Track Meet on Dunlavy Field at Sonora High School. Kids ages 1- to 12-years-old were eligible to compete in two track and two field events at the meet. Track competitions included the 10- and 25-meter springs for 1- to 2-year-olds, as well as the 50-, 100-, 400- and 1,600-meter runs for older kids. Field events were the long jump, tennis ball throw and softball throw.
