The annual Summerville Bears Wrestling Luau and Barbecue will take place on Saturday, July 30.
All proceeds will benefit the Summerville Bears high school wrestling program. Summerville has finished second in the Mother Lode League in both 2011 and 2010.
The event will take place at Tuolumne Memorial Hall. Tickets are $20 per person and the doors open at 5 p.m. The dinner starts at 7 p.m. There will also be a raffle and silent auction.
For more information or to reserve a ticket call Sue Spence at 928-3361 or Kelly Gracia 532-1865.
“Every season our kids get to go to competitive tournaments and wrestling camps and this is due to the great public support we receive,” said Bears head coach Dave Gracia. “This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The food — tri-tips — will be awesome and we know it will be a great time. People keep showing up year after year to support us and we’re tremendously grateful for that.”
