49er Little League signups to be held

49er Little League, which covers the areas of Groveland, Jamestown and Don Pedro, is accepting registration for the 2012 season. The league welcomes all children between the ages of 4 and 14. Children must turn 4 on, or before, Apr. 30. All Children ages 7-and-older may be subject to player evaluations to determine team placement. The cost per player is $65. Family pricing is $65 for the first and $60 for the second and $55 for each succeeding player. Signups will be held on Thursday at the Jamestown Community Hall from 6-8 p.m. Online registration is also available at www.49erLittleLeague.com. Parents can download forms (go to the “handouts” page) and bring them to registration or mail them to P.O. Box 123 Groveland, CA., 95321. The league is also seeking volunteers and umpires.
