Teach your family
To the Editor:
I would like to tell a quick story, to those who think we don’t need guns in our life. Here’s a story to think about.
You work 20 miles away from home, wait let’s say two miles away and you get the call, you find out your newborn and wife were just murdered in your home, she had seen someone staring at her outside. She ran to the phone and dialed 911, told the operator what she saw. As they’re having an officer come to your house all the sudden the man rushes the door and breaks it down, finds your family and murders them. Why? Because he is 51-50 or something. Who cares?
He ended your future because you were against firearms, because realistically 911 only helps after something has happened and regardless that cop will not make it in time.
Ya, they might catch him but it won’t bring your family back. So if you’re anti-gun let this sink into your demi brain: Teach your family how to use a gun and protect themselves unless you really don’t value life.
Rate hike rollback
To the Editor:
I just heard the new TUD water board said no to the present rate increase. It is wonderful that the new board is concerned about cost to the ratepayers. I am sure the people of Tuolumne County that voted in a new TUD board realize these four new directors care about the people they represent.
Finally, cost to the ratepayer is being considered in the TUD organization operation.
Thank you Mike Sarno, Jim Grinnell, John Maciel and Trent Johnson.
