A kind act
To the Editor:
On Jan. 2, I took my two dogs on their daily early morning walk. That Monday morning, a Waste Management truck came by. The driver usually gives my dogs biscuits. I was bent down fixing one of the dog’s collars, so he threw the biscuits out the window. My shepherd found hers immediately, but my scottie couldn’t. He looked at the retreating truck and ran after it as fast as his four little legs would take him. The driver must have seen him in the side mirror. He stopped, got out and gave Robbie (the scottie) a new biscuit.
I don’t know the driver’s name, but these acts of kindness have brought joy to my dogs and happiness to me.
He’s more of what the world needs more than ever.
