Evolution
or God Creation?

To the Editor:

In a recent letter a reader expressed his dismay that, by a National Science Foundation poll, only 48 percent of those polled believed that human beings had evolved from earlier species of animals.

The theory of evolution has fatal flaws. Examples:

1. Evolution involves “spontaneous generation,” the idea that something nonliving can become something living -- that nonliving inorganic chemicals “somehow” turned into something living. Every single attempt to accomplish this has failed.

2. Evolution teaches a gradual appearance of present life over eons of time, with complex organisms emerging from simpler organisms, such as amoeba (a microscopic one-celled animal) gradually changing into a man. In his book, “Evolution a Theory in Crisis,” Dr. Michael Denton, a well-known molecular biologist and evolutionist, admitted that no one has ever documents any evidence for the supposed evolutionary “chain of life,” leading from one type of creature to another.

Evolution depends upon mutation. Genetic mutation is the alterations of DNA, thus changing the genes. If there is no beneficial mutation, then new viable life is not produced, i.e. no evolution.

Let’s consider these statements by eminent scientists:

Nobel-prize winner, Herman J. Muller: “Mutations in summary tend to induce sickness, death or deficiencies.”

Eminent evolutionist Pierre-Paul Grasse (chair of evolution, Sorbonne in Paris for 30 years): “No matter how numerous they may be mutations do not produce any kind of evolutions. There is no law against day-dreaming, but science must not indulge in it.”

Evolutionists L. Margulis and D. Sagan: “Many ways to induce mutations are known, but none lead to new organisms.”

C.P. Martin, an evolutionist, states in “American Scientist”: “Mutations affect viability, and, to the best of our knowledge, invariably affect it adversely.”

No mutation then no evolution.
