The issues To the Editor: While Obama plugs away at 9 percent unemployment, global warming, and healthcare, the GOP field has some goodies for us. Romney wants to bring us to the "shining city on the hill," and Gingrich wants us to build moon colonies. I have to ask, will that be before or after we re-fund school busses, education or fire service? Our candidates would do well to talk about what they will do instead of blowing smoke up our skirts!
