Obama’s world view
On July 13, 2012, President Obama said: “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”
These words illustrate more starkly than any previous Obama utterance the true nature of his world view: he is a collectivist who believes in communal property and the subservience of individual rights to “majority rule.”
It is Code for what extreme liberals truly believe: you cheated and exploited to get what you have. And that is the only reason you are wealthy. They suggest that Obama sees “government” as some self-contained entity that stands apart and above the taxpayers, rather than merely a construct of the people that exists at their whim and to facilitate their lives.
For many people this flies in the face of real world experience. Throughout life, we have each learned through effort, success, disappointment, and failure, that we are unique and different from other people, and that we have different outcomes in life.
For far too many others, however, disappointment and failure leads to envy, which is the central emotion that President Obama and his campaign are tapping into.
The shocking thing isn’t that Obama said what he said, but that so many Americans still are blind to his true nature.
The peal of a bell that rings true carries a long way and lasts a long time.
