Jamestown resident Audrey Yvonne (Earley) Roy died Monday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. She was 67.
Mrs. Roy was born Audrey Yvonne Earley in Brownfield, Texas, to James and Elsie Earley.
She settled in Jamestown 29 years ago.
Mrs. Roy was preceded in death by her father, James Earley, in 1970; mother, Elsie Earley, in 1982; her daughter, Lenda Roy, in 1977; and brother, Jerry Earley, in 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Roy, of Jamestown; her children, Tim Roy and his wife, Sue, of Modesto, John Roy, of El Paso, Texas, and Aaron Roy, of Copperopolis; siblings, James Earley, of Concrete, Wash., Sidney Earley, of Peabody, Mass., and Cynthia Wysong, of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren, Audrey Davis, of Mesa, Ariz., Joseph Roy and Stephen Roy, of Modesto, Reagan Roy and Madison Roy, of Louisville, Ky.; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose St., Sonora.

Roy B. Walden

Douglas Flat resident Roy B. Walden died Aug. 28 at Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center. He was 84.
Mr. Walden was born in Lancaster, S.C., to James T. and Pearl May Walden.
He was in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1952 and served on an aircraft carrier during the Korean War.
Before settling in Douglas Flat 30 years ago, he worked for Lockheed, Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc., McDonnell Douglas Aircraft and Intel Corp. He also owned and operated Walden Refrigeration in Sunnyvale for about 15 years.
Mr. Walden also taught refrigeration, air conditioning and photography at San Jose City College in the early 1970s.
He built a vacation cabin in Arnold in 1968.
He settled in Douglas Flat in the early 1980s and owned Calaveras Springs Bottled Water Co., where he delivered mountain spring water to homes and businesses in Calaveras and Santa Clara counties.
Mr. Walden enjoyed photography and was a 32nd degree mason with the Murphys Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, James Wesley Walden, Charles Kenneth Walden, and David Larry Walden; and sister, Molly Louise Walden, who died as an infant.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Walden, of Douglas Flat; children, Shirley Smith, of Placerville, Beverly Puhak, of Hathaway Pines, and Bruce Walden, of Sunnyvale; siblings, Jack Walden, of Tucson, Ariz., Jerry Walden, of Manteca, and Lois June Patterson, of North Carolina; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foothill Community Church, 3710 Whittle Road, Angels Camp.
Burial will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.

LINGO — Joseph D. Lingo, 42, of Tuolumne, died Monday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tuolumne Rancheria Tribal Hall, 19595 Mi-Wu St. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
OULTON — Loraine Oulton, 91, of Sonora, died Tuesday at Meadowview Manor in Soulsbyville. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
McDONOUGH — Former Mariposa resident Collin Robert McDonough, 25, of Merced, died Aug. 28 in Merced. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Stratford Evans Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B St. Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
PYZER — Doris Pyzer, 87, of Sonora, died Monday at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
RIVERA — Former Tuolumne County resident Vincent Michael River, 47, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Aug. 29 from injuries suffered in a car accident. Abel Funeral Services and Chapel in Phoenix is handling arrangements.
SILVA — Mary Jane Silva, 74, of Sonora, died Tuesday at Avalon Care Center of Sonora. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
