David Allison Noddin

Longtime Tuolumne resident David Allison Noddin died Saturday at a Sonora hospital. He was 64.
He was born in Oakland and lived in Tuolumne for 28 years. He worked as a mechanic for 40 years. He served in the U.S. Marines.
His family said he loved working on cars, restoring cars, traveling and yard work.
Mr. Noddin is survived by his wife of 41 years, Corina Noddin of Tuolumne; daughters, Teresa Noddin of Sonora and Eileen Speer of Tuolumne; a brother, Ted Noddin of Coos Bay, Ore.; a sister, Percilla Mesko of Connecticut; two grandchildren, Eric Noddin and Bobbie Speer, both of Tuolumne; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home's Tuolumne Chapel.
Sally Land Bifarella

Former longtime Sonora resident Sally Land Bifarella died Oct. 18 at her home in Incline Valley, Nev. She was 72.
She was born in Oakland, the daughter of Charles and Helen Bolles Land. She moved to Sonora in 1966 and to Incline Village in 1998 to be near her daughter and grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Piedmont High School, Pine Manor Junior College and the University of California, Berkeley, class of 1952, where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She was a former member of the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, a Paul Harris Fellow of the Sonora Rotary Club and an active volunteer in numerous community organizations.
Her family said her passion was bridge and she played in numerous clubs with many friends.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Lowe and Roger Jones of Tulsa, Okla., and Cathy Lowe and Rick Anderson of Incline Village; granddaughters, Jaclyn Anderson of San Luis Obispo, Megan Anderson of Incline Village; and a step-granddaughter, Rebecca Jones of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter A. Bifarella.
A family gathering was held.

Cheryl Lynn McKinley

Cheryl Lynn "Lynn" McKinley, a former Tuolumne resident, died unexpectedly Thursday at a Fresno hospital. She was 46.
She was born in Norfolk, Va. She lived in Tuolumne from 1992-95 and later moved to Fresno, where she lived for eight years. She worked as a surgical technologist for Kaiser Permanente Hospital.
Her family said she enjoyed craft fairs and selling beads and beaded jewelry. She mostly enjoyed her family and friends, her family added.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, James McKinley of Fresno; a son, Christopher McKinley of Fresno; a daughter, Annie McKinley of Fresno; brothers, Billy and Tommy Smithson of Virginia; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Tom McKinley of Virginia; brothers-in-law, Stephen McKinley of California, Tom McKinley of Nevada, Phil McKinley of South Dakota, and Joe and Ken McKinley of California; and sisters-in-law, Linda L'Hommedieu of Nevada, Mary Hodge of Virginia, Marguerite Brennan of Tuolumne and Diane Moreira of California.
Visitation is scheduled from 11-1:30 p.m. Saturday at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home's Tuolumne Chapel. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Carters Cemetery.
COX A memorial service for Marianne Elizabeth Cox, 43, of Twain Harte, who died Sunday at a Modesto hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident, is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. tomorrow at All Saints Catholic Church in Twain Harte.
