Christopher Anthony Harden Sr.

Sonora resident Christopher Anthony Harden Sr. died Oct. 12 at home. He was 57.
Mr. Harden was born in San Jose, the son of Pearl and Chuck Harden.
He worked as a truck driver for more than 30 years and enjoyed driving to different places as part of his work.
He moved to Sonora five years ago from Copperopolis. Before that he lived in the Bay Area most of his life.
Mr. Harden was a member of E Clampus Vitus Matuca Chapter 1849 and enjoyed going to car shows, watching old Western films and TV shows and spending time with his family.
Mr. Harden was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Harden.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kathy Harden, of Sonora; mother, Pearl Harden, of Sonora; his children and their spouses, Kristina and Travis Berry, of Salina, Kan., Rebecca Harden, of Sonora, Daniel and Erin Marvin, of Tracy, Christopher Jr. and Desiree Harden, of Union City; grandchildren, Sharon, J.J. and Haley Metz; Sophia Harden, Kaylee and Drew Marvin, and Daniel Ariaza; and Savannah Harden; his sisters and their spouses, Ellyn and Denny Walter, of Sonora, Pat and Gary Thomas, of Copperopolis, and Mary and Terri Fisher, of Ripon.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 E. Rose St., Sonora. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds, 19130 Rawhide Road, Jamestown.
