Former Sonora resident Larry Pacocha died Oct. 7 at his sister’s home in Atwater. He was 55.
Born at Hamilton Air Force Base in Navato, to Louise and Felix Pacocha, he worked in construction and chaining for 35 years and lived in Sonora for 30 years.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, which he named August and Red, taking care of and spending time with his dog, Ruby, and going fishing.
Mr. Pacocha is survived by his sisters, Nancy Pacocha Mellow, of Atwater, and Michelle Ditzler, of Buena Park; one nephew; four nieces; and three friends.
No service is scheduled.
He will be buried in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago next to his mother and grandmother.
Stratford Evens Funeral Home in Merced is handling arrangements.
