Enrique Cabonias

June 29, 2003 — Nov. 12, 2003

Enrique Cabonias, the 4-month-old son of Jesse Joe Cabonias and Rachel Rose Dominguez, both of Jamestown, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 12, at his home.

He was born in Sonora and was of the Chiricahua-Dine tribe of American Indians.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Rudy Dominguez-Cabonias of Jamestown; sisters, Xochitl Blancarte and Bernadette Dominguez-Cabonias, both of Jamestown; grandparents, Enrique and Elena Dominguez of San Jose and Robert and Angelina Ybarra of Arizona.

Services were held.

Heuton Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.

Marian McDowell-Williams

June 26, 1915 — Nov. 17, 2003

Former Jamestown resident Marian McDowell-Williams died Monday at a St. Helena care home. She was 88.

She was born in Napa to Alva and Melita McDowell. She attended Napa public schools through her high school graduation. She left Napa in 1950 to attend nurses' training at Paradise Valley School of Nursing near San Diego. After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and Simi Valley Hospital. She retired from Sonora Community Hospital. She lived in Jamestown until 2000, then moved back to Napa to live with her son.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Marilyn; five grandsons, Michael, Mark, Mitchell, Marvin and Murray; and eight great-grandchildren.

At her request, no services will be held except for immediate family members. A burial is scheduled at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.

Donations can be made to the endowment fund at the Mother Lode Adventist Jr. Academy, 80 N. Forest Road, Sonora, 95370.

Tulocay Cemetery Association in Napa is handling arrangements.


AGUERRIA — Alexander Aguerria, 53, of Jamestown died yesterday at a Sonora hospital. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
