Donna Lee (Potter) McReynolds

Angels Camp resident Donna Lee (Potter) McReynolds died Nov. 3 at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital. She was 75.
Mrs. McReynolds was born in Oroville, the daughter of Lee and Evelyn Potter.
She attended school in White Pines and was taught by Hazel Fischer. She graduated from Bret Harte High School in 1956.
She married Robert Charles McReynolds in December 1956. She and her husband bought a home in Angels Camp and raised two children.
Mrs. McReynolds worked for Mark Twain Hospital for 20 years in housekeeping.
She enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She also enjoyed traveling and went on many trips with her husband.
Mrs. McReynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Robert McReynolds in 2009.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Gabrielli, of Angels Camp, son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Gretchen McReynolds, of Avery; granddaughters, Sarah Galla, of Chico, and Carly McReynolds, of Avery; and sister, Annette Linebaugh, of White Pines.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Murphys Hotel banquet room, 457 Main St., Murphys.

Donald Leonard Zyski
Nov. 28, 1928 — Nov. 6, 2013
Jenny Lind resident Donald Leonard Zyski died Wednesday at Mark Twain Medical Center. He was 84.
Mr. Zyski was born in Los Angeles, the son of Theodore and Anita Zyski.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a frogman, a member of two underwater demolition teams.
After his military service, he worked as a Greyhound bus driver for 23 years. He was also a CPR and emergency medical technician instructor in Amador, San Andreas and Valley Springs.
Mr. Zyski was a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years. He was also a past master.
Mr. Zyski was preceded in death by his half-sister, Lavonne Zyski.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred Zyski, of Jenny Lind; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Zyski, of Manteca; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the San Andreas Fire House.
