Kirk Edwin Lund, 51, of Modesto, passed away on April 3, 2014.
Kirk was born in Nevada City, Calif., to Richard and Mary Jo Lund on Feb. 11, 1963.
For the past 8 years, he lived in Modesto and worked as the owner of a property management maintenance company. He was a hard worker, a devoted family man and a caring individual who consistently helped those in need. He was always willing to help others and every job he completed was well done. Prior to being an independent business person, he worked for a number of years in the building trades. Most recently he completed numerous jobs for Jon Hertle of Exit Realty on McHenry Avenue.
Kirk is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lund; his four children, Cameron, Kellen, Victoria and Amelia Lund; and his parents, Richard and Mary Jo Lund, of Sonora. Additionally he is survived by two brothers, Eric Lund, of Sonora; his mother and father-in-law, Roger and Carol Perry, of Clearlake, and many friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Franklin and Downs Funeral Home. There will be a memorial and Victim’s Awareness Event on Wednesday at The Boy Scouts Club House in Enslen Park in Modesto from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Steven Mosely, 58, of Tuolumne, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Doctors’ Medical Center in Modesto.
Steven was born in Sonora to Woodrow and Esther Mosely. He grew up in Sonora and graduated from Sonora High School. He was a cook for 20 years at the Europa Restaurant in Sonora.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his companion, Tina, and their cats. He spent his spare time speed-bag boxing and playing on senior day at Black Oak Casino. His greatest love was for his family. Steven loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his life companion, Tina Packwood; three children: Sarah Foster (Robert Gonzales) of Sonora, Esther Mosely (Jessie Shaw) of Sonora, and Sean Foster of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Lotty Bailey, Chance Bailey, Jonathan Foster and Justin Foster; and a sister, Joyce, in Santa Rosa, Calif.
A private celebration of life is being planned for a later date to be announced.
