Ila E. Goodwin of Sonora died Tuesday at a Sonora hospital. She was 82.
She was born in Omaha, Neb., and lived in Sonora for six years. She worked as an office manager at Adhesive Products in Albany for 35 years. She was a member of the Pinole Senior Center and Pinole Garden Club. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and doll making, her family said.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Goodwin of Sonora; a son, Vernon L. McKenney of Rodeo; a daughter, Lynette Kretschmer of Richmond; and two sisters, Betty Baylon of Fairfield and Janette Metzger of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
No services are planned. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
James J. Keegan

James J. Keegan, a resident of Leland Meadows and formerly of Strawberry, died Tuesday at a Walnut Creek hospital. He was 80.
He was a retired from the Oakland Police Department and Dodge Ridge Ski Area.
Mr. Keegan is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary E. Keegan of Pleasanton; a daughter, Denise Lyons of Castro Valley; six grandchildren, Kelley Mattos of Twain Harte, Sean Lyons of Livermore, Kim Schock of Ripon, Sheila Carroll of Dublin, Jamie Schock of Utah, and Jimmy Carroll, who is serving in the Navy.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Keegan Carroll, and by a son, John Michael Keegan.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raymond's Catholic Church, 11555 Shannon Ave., Dublin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East Bay Cancer Support Group, 20080 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA 94546. Jess C. Spencer Mortuary in Castro Valley is handling arrangements.
BEDDELL Visitation for Kathleen Beddell of Twain Harte, who died Wednesday at a care home in San Leandro, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Christian Heights Assembly of God Church. A church service is scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. A burial is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carters Cemetery. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
BUSLER Visitation for Earl Busler of Cold Springs, who died Tuesday at a Modesto hospital, is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday at Heuton Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
